So, commentator said that Rydzek made the mistake, but to me it looked more like Riessle, who wanted to take the inner curve by force? Awkward by Germany anyway.
Bernhard Gruber 5th, great performance by him.
Oh yeah, Fenninger's second medal... shame she missed out so close on her second gold though.

Absolutely Riessle's fault imo, you can't just try and create space where there is none.

De Jong rides a disappointing time.. Lol Norway, Lunde Pedersen could've beaten that and gotten bronze... |

Have the Netherlands won any medal in a discipline besides ice skating?

Well, shorttrack is at least a different sport, so yes, we have won a medal in an other sport in Sochi

Curling is played on ice but it's not exactly skating or sliding. The one where you push stones around and no-one understands the scoring system

We do pretty well for a country with no decent facilities and little funding. Imagine if we had money spent for the winter games like we do for the summer. |

The Netherlands only win in one event. GB is known for sucking at the winter olympics. But you suck so much it makes us look good

You are making no sense at all.
A country with 20 medals from just 2 sports (both on ice) is incredible and never seen before.
With a delegation of 41 athletes we're competing with countries that have over 200 athletes here.
If anything. We make the rest of the world look bad. |
