The Hobbit - Corrected, thanks You don't think Henry will take 5 Tours? haha, no, this victory will always remain a treasure!
muttisr - Then I can only agree
anderspcm - Sure is. I never raced this well with a rider with such stats. Feels like I'm really becoming a pro in PCM
sutty68 - You can be sure of that!
baia - Thanks, I4m not really sure how I did it. I guess the national bonus and strong form were a big part of it

Great win.
Was it motivation or so but ITT perf has been great too.
But Marseilles is such a strange city!

duxili - ITT was indeed perfect Col d'Eze and motivation were the biggest help the side story is not about the city Marseille, but it's Marseillaise Madness (coming from la Marseillaise - national anthem)

Marseillaise Madness - Part III
By the time I was done with the press, it was so late. I returned to the hotel and decided to go straight to bed. Tomorrow was another stage and now I had a jersey to defend.
Upon entering my room, a woman came up behind me.
"Henry Vergnaud?"
I turned around.
"Michelle?"
After Paris - Nice, I only had Critérium International left before my little break. Here are some results from the World Tour.
I didn't get the remaining spot in Milan - San Remo. Well, no harm done, it came down to a mass sprint anyway, with Cavendish taking the win.
E3 - Harelbeke 1 Jürgen Roelandts Lotto Belisol 5h10'23 2 Filippo Pozzato BMC Racing Team + 23 3 Tom Boonen Omega Pharma - Quick·Step Cycling Team + 57 4 Alessandro Ballan BMC Racing Team s.t. 5 Lars Boom Belkin Pro Cycling Team s.t. 6 Niki Terpstra Omega Pharma - Quick·Step Cycling Team s.t. 7 Johan Le Bon FDJ.fr s.t. 8 Alexander Kristoff Citigroup Pro Cycling + 1'44 9 John Degenkolb Sky Procycling s.t. 10 Greg Van Avermaet BMC Racing Team s.t.

Critérium International Our race was quite good. Zabel took the first stage and the short time trial. My form was not good enough, however, to secure the overall victory. I finish 8th, but with this form that's good enough.
General Classification
1 Pierre Rolland Team Europcar 6h56'56 2 Warren Barguil Team Argos - Shimano + 24 3 Pierre-Luc Périchon BigMat - Auber 93 + 33 4 Jonathan Castroviejo Movistar Team + 45 5 Sébastien Reichenbach IAM Cycling + 1'04 6 Vladimir Karpets Movistar Team s.t. 7 Christophe Riblon Cofidis, Solutions Crédits + 1'07 8 Henry Vergnaud Citigroup Pro Cycling + 1'19 9 Rémy Di Gregorio Team Europcar s.t. 10 Brice Feillu Sojasun s.t.
And now, it's finally time for my break. I'll see you back in May!

Stab Her!
In the face!
Joking, interesting to see what elaborate excuse she has.

Ah national anthem I thought it was because Paris-Nice, you were near Marseilles.
What? Michelle? I though she was dead (to Henry at least!)

VIDEO
Michelle was like that or what?
And nice to see two cousins on 4&5 in Catalunya, though a 1-2 would've been even better.

The Hobbit - You need professional help
duxili - Could've been, but Nice is too far away and also at the coast
dippofix - 1 & 2 would've been amazing, but that's just the way it went... Classic Barney

That doesn't sound good for sure, let's hope Henry can recover from his injuries, and be ready for the Criterium du Dauphiné

I wouldn't give a f*ck (excusez le mot) about cycling now, but first fully recover and get live back on the rail. It's horrible something like this happens

Hmmm, Michelle was the woman, and she had actually stabbed him (in the face) to cover her tracks for illegally conspiring with her boyfriend to overthrow Henry's cycling dominion, that's my theory
I hope he gets well soon

anderspcm - Not sure if he can make that, we'll see, thanks
Shonak - Hmm, celebrating now would be a bit inappropriate. Barguil is a man to count on for sure!
Selwink - Just what I was thinking. Thanks!
welker3257 - No, it ain't. And not at the best time, too.
Dippofix - Well, it can only get better now, so at least we have that
The Hobbit - Hmm... Interesting theory. Except that this happened a month after meeting her
Not sure when I can write the next piece. I hope tomorrow, but I can't guarantee anything!

It probably took some time to earn his false trust before she convinced him to go out on a ride, laid tacks on the road, waited till he fell, performed the deed, then dragged his body into a nearby ravine. Everything had to be planned etc etc.
