Hmm... Schröder a bit behind, Voeckler looking good.
Hmm, break really has to be caught if I want a Top 10 though...
Nice report up to now Marco

THE RACE
Part 3
16km to go
The late attackers are closing in on the break
14km to go
Some more attacks out of the peleton! Failli ( VIN), Taaramae ( COF), Trofimov ( KAT) and Arashiro ( EUC) are trying their luck. Meanwhile, the group Brouwer and the group Fedrigo merged into 1 group.
13km to go
Wait, what's this! Dyachenko and Montaguti are ahead of the break. Van Winden couldn't follow the pace of the others.
10km to go
10 kilometers to go for the 2 leader. Voeckler has passed Van Winden and has now joined the break. The other chasers have also merged into 1 big group of 16 men, but they are 1:30 behind the leaders. The peleton is even further behind, so their chances are small.
5000m to go
It's safe to say that the winner will come out one of these 3 groups. However, the 2 at the front are around 40 seconds ahead of the second group, who is 40 seconds ahead of the third group, who is 1:45 ahead of the peleton.
3000m to go
I think they're too late. It will be a battle between these 2 riders, Montaguti and Dyachenko.
1000m to go
Under the kite and the Italian is leading. But isn't he leading out the Kazach this way?
800m to go
The answer is, yes! Dyachenko is in the lead now.
0m to go
Alexsandr Dyachenko is this year's winner of the GP La Marseillaise. Well done! Montaguti comes in second place, but he will be disappointed.
The 2 chasing groups merged in the final kilometers. Mederel just edges out Voeckler in a sprint for third place. Vichot is fifth, Brouwer sixth and Delage seventh. Ignatiev finishes in eight place. Veuchelen and Cervero complete the top 10.
Maxime Vantomme ( CRE) won the sprint in the remaining peleton ahead of Lixandru ( COF) and Simon ( SOJ). It was only for the 31th place, though.
Everybody has finished the race, except this guy who thought La Pomme Marseille got an invitation for their home race. They didn't apparently, so he didn't start.

Three in the Top10 (four in 15) was pretty awesome... apart from the non-managed team winning again

Even with weaker teams, the Russians still win

Well, yay, we got our goal, by far(does that deliver bonus points? )
Though 4th is a sucky position, just missing out on the load of points a podium delivers...

It was a tough first race for me, but I'm extremely happy with my performance. The whole world should make notice of my name after this ride!
A in-depth report of the race will come when I'm back home and my pulse had gone down a bit...

It seems unmanaged teams are getting a bonus from PCM.
Cervero can't live up to the expectations just yet. |

*Yawn* Another win for an unmanaged team.
On another note, I cheered for Cofidis, they failed completely. I'm really not very good at this. |

There are 6 stages left aren't there? We only had the first stage. Though we could be waiting a while, Neillster seems to be hiding . |
