Heya, thanks for applying! Very nice to have you in. Both Androni and Astana are available for management, so just let me know which one you like best

Name: Peter Luttenberger
Nationality: Austria
Desired Team: Team NetApp - Endura
Austrian former cyclist Peter Luttenberger has brought his name forward in Team NetApp - Endura's search for a new manager. However his bid may be premature, as recent doping allegations have surfaced from an anonymous teammate at Rabobank, who claims he has been a roommate of Luttenberger. The management is confident in Luttenberger's former clean professional career though after a couple of meetings. However, they'd be foolish to not include a clause for a management change, should further allegations be proven.
Team NetApp - Endura have had quite a string of bad luck as former Team Manager Michael Boogerd disappeared from public after reveals of his systematic doping past, who has even stated, that he has "never really seen it as something wrong". Clearly, the team sponsors are not happy with such a statement and the riders have subsequently suffered a time without real guidance. Peter Luttenberger hopes to change this now if Team NetApp - Endura sign him in the first break.

Final startlists just went out, and I'm hoping to get the delayed races resolved over the weekend. This means we're approaching our first season break. This will slow down the game a bit, as there are some database changes going on, we'll get new wildcard applications and I have to assign reports again. In the mean time, the Continental Championships will be held, more on everything will soon be updated in the new thread!

I just opened up some inactive teams, if you ever wanted to join this game, now's your chance!

If anyone wants to take over Bardiani they'd be more than welcome.
I just don't have time for HQs and things, I prefer having my custom riders...
If no one offers I'll carry on. But still...
Maybe a co-OP with someone of similar mindset? |

Well, yeah, but it did not work out as expected, as he hasn't been around at all lately.
(What I'm trying to say is that there is still room for an active guy here! )

3D, sim, just use vote or ranking.. There seem to be way too many nations to run them all 3D, as much as I'd like it.
And how did that discussion move here? Wasn't this thread long enough already?
This a better place?
If it's too many to 3D, then i'd say go with Sim over Rankings or Vote. Rankings takes out the randomness/openness of the events, and disadvantages those guys who might have been saving race days. Vote would surely lead to everyone voting for their own rider and equally removes all sporting nature from the "events".
Remember you can't really 3D some and not others, because that is unfair against certain teams/people/whatever. You could Sim the really small events and 3D the major ones ()

Can you remind me of what I need to do if I decide to manage a team?
Thanks

1- What else do you need to do, other than Team HQ?
2- What needs to be in the Team HQ?

Take a look at any EPIC HQ. It's pretty simply: Riders, Races, Goals.
