Why? Because they completely owned the rest of the teams and only Garzelli was able to follow them? Come on now... You're being ridiculous

Vicioso just finished an 18km time trial at over 50Km/h in a headwind
Yes, Ángel Vicioso who is at the best of days an average time triallist.
Draw your own conclusions...

Anyway, back to what matters: Garzelli lost time on Vicioso and Tondo, so Vicioso is back in yellow and Tondo and Garzelli should be competing for the overall. one mountain stage left (on Tuesday).
The stage today was won by Samuel Sánchez. he was nowhere in the first decisive stage, but today he was awesome.

You are always high...
I completely support portuguese teams outside our borders, but it's a shame that the riders who make big things for these teams are spanish guys.

Number 1: It's even worse when those riders are named Vicioso, Zaballa, Mancebo, Jímenez, etc.
Number 2: Look at Café Pedro

Remember the original Kaggestad thread? the one where I rambled about how much he and Ian McLeod sucked, yet they had ProTour contracts?
Well, McLeod just won a race
He's the new South African road race champion

In Olympia's Tour, our biggest stage race for young riders (10 stages), Casper Jörgensen (22) suprisingly beat Lars Boom and Lieuwe Westra in the prologue by 6 and 7 seconds respectively. Jorgensen is now also the leader ofcourse. |
