The Recovery

Last month I received my equipment for next season, I will ride on a Trek Madone White.

bikeline.com/images/library/Zoom/tk_45wsd_11_z.jpg

And here is my time trial bike

brimages.bikeboardmedia.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/TK10_SpeedConcept_Leopard_-2011-trek-team-time-trial-bike.jpg

I'm right on my schedule about my recovery. Now I'm riding every day to be in shape for my first race.

When I got the authorization to ride again, I went on the small way behind my home riding for 1 hour.

Then two week later I went on a training with seven of my team mates including Cancellara and Gallopin.

Then I went to my session at the velodrome to test my limits after my recovery.

One week ago I went to a time trial test with the team, I left first but I arrived last. I still have to work a lot on that discipline.

Bob Jungels left after me but he was really strong this day

And then we work cobbles and TTT on the same day, it was really hard to follow this big names of cycling but I made it.

You have some nice races to look forward to Wink

I hope he gets selected for the Tour. So perform well in the early season. And, of course, those cobbled classics are the most important races of the year!

This day was our first day of racing for all of us in the squad so we were all quite out of shape.

None of us went in the break but none of us took part in the chase, we were not listed as favorites for this race.

When there was 5 km remaining I decided to test me after this long break without riding in a pack. I did not went far but the feelings were here, it looks good for this season.

The stage ended in mass sprint won by Elia Viviani (Cannondale Pro Cycling). Tony Gallopin took the 4th position.

Stage 02

This Time Trial was mostly flat but the 2 km climb in the endw was very decisive.

I left quite late and the wind was not in my favor, I was on my Trek TT bike and I want you to notice the great work of our wheel designer Ivy24 who made this amazing wheel.

i1272.photobucket.com/albums/y382/Axel_Choteau/A%20French%20Rising%20Hope/2015/Tour%20Med/PCM0005_zpsa146af10.jpg

At the intermediate sprint I was 34th with 55" on the first rider.

i1272.photobucket.com/albums/y382/Axel_Choteau/A%20French%20Rising%20Hope/2015/Tour%20Med/PCM0006_zps5e03c7c7.jpg

The last climb was a pain for me but I did a good time on it. When I ended I was 12th with 28" on the first one.

But the main hope for the team was Bob Jungels, the Luxembourg Time Trial Champion who was wearing the best young jersey. He caught the rider who left right before him.
