Sounds nice, thought about studying history myself as well. Good luck.
I'm starting with IntRelations/Organisation tomorrow. Already met my seminar group 2 days ago and it seems nice. Looking forward to it

On school, well uni anyway, I might be doing an exchange to Glasgow next year which would be rad. Would be my final year and final semester studying history and politics. Currently on my 2 week 'break' where I need to write 5 essays which is fun. |

I thought about studying history this year, but took another year off (again), but think I'm gonna study history next year. Thought about Odense, but really don't know. Anyway I would like some feedback on the university, once you have gotten further into it.

The University of Groningen is actually an option, it is a partner university with Auckland, might end up in The Netherlands, who knows? |

Computer Science is my first university/college (whatever you call it) option for years and I don't think it will change, so nice to hear that. I still do have 2 years, including the one that starts tomorrow, of high school before it.

Tomorrow I also start my bachelor thesis. Which means in ~2 years I will have finished my master as I only need 3 semesters.
@ admir: What about "Environmental and Power Process Engineering"

I can definitely recommend Computer Science. It tough and very theoretical, which isn't really my cup of tea, but I can feel how it's really helping my problem solving skills when it comes to programming. Also, the job situation is pretty good, at least in Denmark.

Is that your subject? Sounds cool. I did my bachelor before the summer.

Actually, that suits me perfectly and I just like programming (of course, I am just in starting phase, but I am trying to learn some basic stuff now), so that'd be a great combination of doing something I enjoy and getting money. I wouldn't be that worried about job at the moment, as I am lucky to have multiple options (one of them is even "easy" leaving of this "country", which is most likely going to happen) for that.

I'd like to say I understand what you wanted to say, but I have no clue. Perhaps that's your uni/subject?
Also, please, either call me Admir or admirschleck. It's just...annoying.

Yes. Studying this subject. It`s lots of basic things with some labory work while the master is going to be a lot more practical, where you start to see what and why you are doing this.
The master then will decide in what direction you are heading. Like renewable energies in for example car industrie, recycling, energy technologies in power plants, waste water technology or renewable energies in general such as wind, solar or other alternative energies.
@ Admir. Sorry for that.
@ AaB-ern: I should have done my bachelor 1 or 2 summers ago actually. But I was a little bit slow in the middle.

Oh, also, I'd like to hear more about it (CS uni) from you AaB (perhaps roturn aswell, but I am not really interested in that subject, to be completely fair). What subject did you chose? Is it too hard, what subjects from high school are mostly needed and general stuff like that. I, of course, made some resarches on google, but it's always better to hear it from someone that's directly connected to all that. It can go to PM, if it's too much to reveal here. Thanks.

I made the experience that school basics are good to have but are not 100% needed.
Let`s for example take engineering studying. Of course you will need some basic knowledge in Maths, Physics and depening on the exact subject some information in Chemistry, Biology etc.
But I think nobody serious will study engineering when having really weaknesses in those subjects.
But at University the first subjects were all about the basics in those anyway. So we have a basic course in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Technical mechanics, Thermo dynamics etc.
So the important parts there will be learned again as most will have forgotten lots of school things until then.
So in general. Having some basic knowledge is of course important but it will again be taught at University to "refresh" your mind.

Don't drink too much on your year off, you'll need your liver for "studing"
Not sure if its the same there but I'm yet to meet anyone serious about history. Here, a history degree comes with a major in drinking. Psychology is the same, economics too (thou there they sometimes study too )
