I knew that Portugal playing in counter attack would be lethal with CR7 with an amazing speed and shooting deadly and very good passing by the midfielders.

France 3-0 up against 10 men Ukraine. At least there'll be no extra time. Gusev scored in his own goal.
Good job, and I wouldn't have bet a coin on them. Nothing comparable with the team that was defeated in Ukraine. This team is connected to alternative voltage

Well not a qualifier but where else to put that one in so meh:
If England gets a hard group for the WC 2014 then it's going to be (very) hard for them to get into the knockout phase.
Ok friendlies are normally boring but well that put a crown on the word boring.
- No yellow cards at all, just at the end one foul where you could say yes but that was more a anger/revenge foul Henderson giving Götze something for his dribblings.
- No imagination at all: either taking too much time on the ball or looong balls no matter if on the ground or high. You could see that after the substitutions England played worse and worse
- The only goal was from a corner but well actually after some plays after the corner but still a header. Normally the weakest point of Germany as Löw doesn't train set-pieces a lot.
- The stadium was very very quiet, until after the game
If there wasn't Hart (ok he hasn't looked great when he tried to run through Smalling I guess) and Townsend I would have guessed it was the USA (similar looking kit?) and he result wouldn't have been 0:1 but 0:2 or even 0:3.
At least the ref was really good you couldn't say anything on what he has given or hasn't given.
That was actually one of the least boring England games for a while actually. We specialise in the dull. But to be honest, there was no way Germany deserved to win that game. It was a 0-0 or a 1-1 sort of game.
Also, I watch a lot of Premier League football and I watch every England game. Can somebody please tell me why Jordan Henderson is anywhere near the England team? I would much rather see any of Wilshere/Rodwell (remember him?/Barkley/Shelvey/Ward-Prowse/Hughes/Morrison/any Englishman with two legs play in central midfield. Bobby Charlton would be better than him.
Oh and Townsend was crap tonight. He's another Wright-Phillips, likes running down blind alleys and running out of talent. Yes, I know he causes full-backs problems, but so does Walcott. Lallana is far better. As is Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Shelvey in the England team? You mean the same Shelvey who finished the 2-2 game between Swansea and Liverpool with 1 goal and 3 assists? The man is an absolute joke and has cost Swansea some results both in the Premier League and in the Europa League too (in our most recent game against Kuban Krasnodar we were up 1-0 with 20 seconds to go so Shelvey decided to go for glory and charged at two defenders, who tackled him and that lead to the goal that tied it up). He has a hell of a lot of maturing to do.
