It looks like Sorensen doesn't have a sense of humor, instead he's got fractured hand, and finished his season already, alongside with his career in Coca-Cola, as I decided not to renew his contract.
Racingwise I had few days off, and after that took part in 1.1 GP d'Isbergues - Pas de Calais.
Due to rank of the competition I decided to get few of my riders off (including Ciolek). My best sprinter for the race was Oleg Krivenco and he came 2nd, just after Johhnie Walker from Falcon, and just millimeters ahead of Pim Ligthart and Angelo Tulik.

So then it was time for the World Championship. Of course my brave Polish team wasn't favourite for it , but as always since Mico suggestion (btw is he still alive?) to take part in it, I did my best. In time trial Kwiatkowski came 18th (which is 6 places worst than last year).
Road race was quite interesting. I had Jaroslaw Marycz in the breakaway group, but it was eventually chased down. I tried to do my best on cobbles with Pawilowski as this Coca-Cola's youngster was my best sprinter (however only FL 74, SP 75, ACC 75). With 10 km to go he was in 34 man peloton, which was leading the race. Another 19 riders were jus 50" behind but they didn't catch up with peloton. Having just one rider (Michal Golas) apart from Pawilowski I wasn't able to get a decent position for my sprinter, as he was blocked when sprint started, and couldn't use his whole potential. That resulted with only 13th place for him (which I think is still good results for a 23-year old). Race was won by Peter Sagan, with Italians: Daniel Oss and Oscar Gatto ending up on the podium.

Then my team went to Milan for Milano - Torino (1.HC).
With sprinters like: Sagan, Kittel, Swift, Gerard Ciolek wasn't favourite for this race. However due to strong train (Pawilowski, Krivenco) he made it, and get the team another win.

Another race also took place in Milan. It was Il Lombardia (WT).
With many good riders I didn't hope for a good result (none of my riders were in top 15 favourites for the race). However Peter Kennaugh managed to finish 6th. Race was win by amazing Thibaut Pinot, who was way ahead of the others.

1.1 Sparkassen Munsterland Giro was another race for my team. It went well, and just like last year I won it this time, only this time with Ciolek. Pawilowski came 5th, and Krivenco 9th.

Hilly Coppa Sabatini (1.1) was another race on my cards. Few good riders showed up for this race and I only managed to finish 8th with Kennaugh. Race was dominated by TEAM Teleitalia - Wilier, as first two places went to them (Failli, Meyer).

Ok, played another two races:
Giro dell'Emilia (1.HC) - hilly race on which I attacked with Kennaugh too early, and that resulted with only 18th place for him. Race was won by Maxime Buess (generated rider), just ahead of Contador and Pirazzi.
Paris - Tours (1.HC) - flat, on which it was Boasson Hagen who attacked too fast. Race ended with mass sprint finish, which was won by Gerald Ciolek.

So, last World Tour of the season - Tour of Beijing.
5 days of racing, 3 flats stages, 1 hilly and 1 ITT.
Stage 1 - ITT
9,4 km long prologue started big racing in China. With many good time trialist like: Geraint Thomas, Lieuwe Westra and Lars Boom it went very well for my team as Michal Kwiatkowski reported 9th time of the day, Kennaugh surprisingly finished 10th (he might need those seconds for GQ), and my best rider - infallible Ben King got 2nd time of the day. Win, green and yellow jersey alongside with some kisses went to Lieuwe Westra who was way ahead of the others.
Ben King leaving Bird's Nest.
