Nice riding by Schleck, attacked again, just like in stage 2. Leipheimer surprises, while Gesink hasn't found his best climbing form yet (considering that fact that he prefers longer climbs, instead of this pretty short one).
Costa should buy Valverde a large piece of Swiss cheese, as he remains in yellow because of him! Tomorrow will be exciting again, with these small gaps in the GC.

This climb is 4km. Gesink loses on explosivity again. Although I also think he's not in his best shape yet.
Costa will lose to F.Schleck tomorrow and probably drop out of the top 5 even
I think the final podium will be
1 F Schleck
2 Leipheimer
3 Nieve
Gesink probably 4th |

But Gesink seems really strong in TT so he probably prepared more TT for the TDF than Climbing. And when he perfectly peaks for the Tour he is a real contender for me this year. More than F.Schleck who doesn't have the ability to get stronger in TT like his brother
But I hope Fränk makes the race much more "watchable" by attacking on every f**cking mountain !!! |

Well, Leipheimer was obviously capable of following Schleck, so blaming the climb for being to explosive for Gesink isn't vald to me. It can only be explained by Robert Gesink's lack of top shape and climbing abilities, which i think has declined a little while his ability on TT's has improved

If only he had the incredibly acceleration of Leipheimer, he might have stood a chance

I hope Gesinks time loss today, was due to him not being in top form yet. Which is positive looking at the coming Tour de France. I think Fränk will win the overall tomorrow. |

Didn't you see Levi power away from the bunch in last years USPCC? He's the American Gilbert, duh.

And who were those explosive opponents? Danielson, Levi? I more agree on your second point - he just isn't in his best shape yet. |

Actually, I think Frank Schleck is better "time-trialist" than his brother. His TT position in this TdS looked even quite good. I think he has his biggest chance ever to win this year's TdF. He will ride as only leader of his team for the first time of his career with a really strong support, in his the most favourite race, it looks like he is in his best shape of his life - he looks even better on this day than in 2010 when he won TdS overall. And he will ride without his brother, which is a really important thing - best results of Schlecks came when they raced without his bro.
His chances aren't too big, but if he has a shot in his life, it's this year's Tour de France. No Berto, no Andy.. Wiggins, Evans, Gesink, Sanchez, Nibali, Leipheimer, Valverde. He can beat them all. And it isn't about course, that there are almost 100 kms of time trials. There are enough mountains to drop all Wiggins, Evans and Leipheimer. Maybe I am a little bit foolish, but I believe, he can do it, or at least he is capable of giving it a really good try.

Of course. As you predicted, he is looking better this weekend than last. |

It will need a miracle for Costa to keep his lead. Still, hope he can hang on to the top-5. |
