There might be liars, you never know.
Everyone averages their height up, so I expect there to be 2-3 cm of overstatement on average, but still, the average here is much more than the average male, which is odd as I suspect plenty of people here will grow further.

Still waiting untill it's 8th of August.... BMX-racing with the Orange crush (Raymon vd Biezen, Jelle v Gorkom, Twan v Gendt and Laura Smulders)!!!
Also looking forward to see Sarah Walker (New Sealand) and her incredible smile (and Caroline Buchanan makes a very good number 2)

I was watching the womens weightlifting event and it was actually very exciting.
Atleast I think it was women.
Wish all weightlifters looked like this
Zoe Smith, wow she is just stunning, I'd love to do plenty of naughty things to her
By the way, I'm Claudia Hauslers perfect match.
If she's a weightlifter, then she'd break your pecker during a climax.
On the other hand, that would probably be nasty.

There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

The USA is slaughtering Nigeria. 132:64 with 7 minutes to go.
Edit: the weightlifter is really ugly, imo.

Yes, they do.

I was there
Earlier in the session GB almost shocked the 2nd seeds Spain. Lost by 1 point!
USA won 156-73 - a record for the most points scored by a team in an Olympics match
48 points in the first quarter, but some of their big stairs - Lebron James, Kobe Bryant - didnt play at all in the 2nd half. And Carmelo Anthony didnt feature too much, despite finding time to break the USA individual match scoring record with a load of 3 pointers

Don't forget about my man Kevin Durant
And then there is Russell Westbrook & James Harden (Thunder Fanatic )

As somebody who doesnt follow NBA, Lebron and Bryant are the 2 biggest names in the team. i.e. The ones I would recognise straight away as Basketball players

Yeh, Durant is probably 3rd on my list of recognisable USA names. Of course, I know a few more now after watching the game!
Was really pleased to have a ticket to see GB and USA even before the game. Even better now that GB played well, and USA played phenomenally

Will you be going to the Track Cycling at all, SN? Apparently it was hard to get a ticket though.
I know someone that bought a Track and Field ticket. No clue what its worth, but I really wish I was them

Velodrome on Saturday
Im going to the Athletics on Saturday, Sunday and Monday aswell. Amongst other things, seeing every round of the 100m, and with any luck a Welsh Gold Medal from Dai Greene in the 400m Hurdles (though Culson is favourite for Puerto Rico)

I think I'm the tallest member on the forum at 2.02m (6'7 and a half of an inch). And I'm only 18, I really hope I don't grow anymore.

Great pictures SN, this is unjustice, i follow NBA for ages and never will get to see US team probably, while you know two players and you are there.
With my salary, i would need to stop eating for the year and than i would be able to purchase one or two tickets maybe.
edit:But what a match that was,complete slaughterhouse.
Also fantastic race in water canoying yesterday, two british ships on the top, beating our legends Hochshorner brothers...

Watched the game yesterday. Love basketball and there was no way to not watch it.
USA have a hell of a team and Griffin, Wade and several more aren`t even there. |

Lucky. There's a whole host of reasons for why the Olympic in London really could not be better timed for me. I'm not rich, and all of my tickets are in the lower categories. And Ive spent well over a year ticket hunting from various sources.

I believe as SN is a maths student, he realised the ballotting system used for the Olympics meant that if you put in for 2000 tickets you were highly likely of not getting any more than 10. Whereas if you put in for 8 tickets you would likely get none. So likely SN put in for loads of tickets and got some. Hence why SN is at the basketball on saturday evening.
Tickets came out at various times after that too (such as ticketing on Box Hill). That was more a case of timing.
I've heard rumours if you just went on your own (rather than in pairs or families) that you were far more likely to get tickets too.
Congrats to SN. I am happy enough to have aquired some tickets to the boxing for Sunday (yeah it's womens!).

Maybe not for british standarts, but for mine you have to be. How much do you approximatly payed for the tickets as the whole?Thousand pounds or more?
