Before leaving for surgery in Holland this morning, Breschel has now said he is afraid he won't be able to ride the WC in Copenhagen.

At the age of 23, Cav already had 2 Giro and 4 Tour stages.

Nibali's injuries sound really worrying especially with such a vital couple of stages coming up.

Sagan wont as he isn't the fastest sprinter. Kittel wont "destroy" Cav. I think Kittel will become the new rival for Cav, replacing Farrar and/or Greipel, but I dont think he will win more races than Cav, when they race head-to-head.

I have to disagree. With cav losing his sprint train and kittel growing , i see him overtaking him

I have to disagree. With cav losing his sprint train and kittel growing , i see him overtaking him We don't really have datas to know who's the fastest, there have been no head to head this season, and we don't and can't know if Kittel will get any faster, nor if Cavendish will get any slower (although, arguably, his sprint train is unlikely to be as efficient next year, at least in the beginning). |

Scarponi seems to be fine. Let's see how he does today. |
