I see someone has added "climber" to Thor Hushovd's rider type on his wikipedia page. |

What's a pro cyclists worst nightmare? Racing solo for TdF stage win and knowing Thor Hushovd is chasing you. Fear of God of Thunder.
I like your twitter post's keep posting them |

I have to say that Twitter has opened my eyes a bit.
These pro-cyclists just say what they want - some are witty, some are serious, some just like to play about. I really enjoy seeing their reactions after a days racing, or seeing what they think might happen.
One of the best at the moment IMO is Craig Lewis, who can't ride atm cos of his accident in the Giro. However he is tweeting all day (whilst riding his bike in front of the TV) and I'm really enjoying his thoughts and insights.
example:
Spoiler @craiglewis85 Craig Lewis
Painful day to be in the Tour today. Short, fast, a big climb; perfect for a breakaway and perfect chance for about 95% of the field. #tdf
When everyone wants to be in the break, a climb is usually needed to cause some separation. This run-in to the Cat 4 should help. #tdf
Perfect day for Gilbert, but he will need a lot of luck to pick the right move.
I bet it's a big group, around 12, that gets away today. #tdf
I like how Jeremy Roy races. Impressive. Lots of power and motivation needed to make the break almost everyday! #tdf
Same with Lars Bak. So many days on the front for Cav and now he is in the break. #tdf
Then someone asked him a question (well he gets lots, but only answers a few).
@BriceShirbach Brice Shirbach
you guys have quite a bit of GC talent but seem to be built in a way favoring sprint wins than supporting GC riders @craiglewis85 #TdF
replies ↓

@BriceShirbach Cav guarantees wins and he wins because some of the biggest talents in cycling do the work. #Sacrifice #tdf

I particuarly like Geraint Thomas tweets. Sometimes hilarious, adding to his awesome video blog. Cav twees aren't bad too

I'm surprised Lewis didn't complain about Ausbisque's unprotected ravines, seeing how he's taking any chance to whine about Zomegnan and the Giro.

Oscar Freire won 2002 in Germany (hurray) a Tour de France stage while wearing the world champion jersey, who was it before Freire if we count out TT world champions?
Greg LeMond in 1983, but he won only TTT with his team.
Before that, Bernard Hinault won 4 stages in Tour de France while wearing the world champion jersey in 1981.
Thank you
Wow seems to be very very seldom to win in the world champion jersey (at the Tour)

Well, this years WC Road race is flat (apparently) so fingers crossed Cav can win and then win a stage at next years TdF and that will be the start of a new tradition.......

I missed the end of today's stage, but saw the highlights later.
Thor is just impressive and a very, very worthy World Champion. That's probably the most positive things I have ever said about a Norwegian |

What do you think Thors hill and mountain stats should be? What about 70 Mou and 75 Hill ? |

@Martin_TB If you ever fancy widening your range of cyclists on Twitter, have a look at the people the PCMDaily twitter is following. Pretty much all of the 450 or so we follow are related to cycling in some way.
