i mean he should be banned for his doping and for the fact that while he should be banned for doping he's making the giro boring.
I don't like fact that he did dope, and should pay for it.....but he is leading by 5 minutes now...Do you all think he is still doping? You think he would be smart enough to not....and they are probably testing him up the wazzu, so just curious to see what everyone thinks.... |

but it's a well know fact that atheletes who dope have benifits even after they stop doping. the heart gets bigger due to the extra blood it needs to pump and doesn't reduce in size instantly. also, even though you've doped it's still the same muscles you've been using which are now used to working at a much higher intensity. thats why they do out of season testing. if they didn't riders would just dope through the winter to push themselves to the limit and then come off the drugs but maintain the increased heart and muscle capabilities. |

Enough doping talk.
We have a thread named "Alberto Contador positive" for that. Keep this about the Giro and the sporting aspect of it. |

The final ITT has been shortened by 5.5 km, so it will be 26 km long. Seriously, what the frag? If anything, they should make it longer, not shorter. |

I've read it's to avoid confusion in the streets of Milan, elections day or something like that. |

Sivtsov there makes the chances of the break succed a little slim. But you never know! |

Yeah but he might also be the one working the most in the breakaway to get some time so he could help it

with Hernandez there, Saxo won't be chasing
and Scarponi will just mark Nibali (no chasing for Lampre?)
so it'll be up to Luquigas to chase, and they don't really have a flat-team (or a good team at all tbh) so this (and tomorrow's) stage have breakaway wins for mind |

Great race between the riders in the breakaway now, but no one is able to open up a real gap. |

Dupont is doing an awesome race attacking all the time
but he will be too tired for the win.
