It's a rule that was exploited last year by at least one manager. I'm wondering if it will change this year? |

I did not exploit it. I was caught in a squeeze by Setzel's cheating ways.

Yeh, Ill be much stricter on people trying to dodge the system. If someone thinks of something that is technically allowed, and I dont like it, then It will be stopped - rather than the usual, just allow it and change for next season.
And I reserve the right to remove bids and prevent a person bidding on a rider, to stop another Menchov.

Waghlon purposefully bidding with money he didnt have to raise the price of Menchov, who T-Baum wanted. Then letting T-Baum win, only for T-Baum's bid to be invalid, so Waghlon got Menchov who he couldnt afford. But as the highest waged rider he had, Menchov was the one who got removed at the end of the season, so it made little difference to Waghlon.

And if it happens again, or if there is even suspicion that someone is doing something similar, I have no issue with removing the manager from the game completely.

I'm split on the issue. On one hand, we're trying to make the game fair and clean, but on the other hand, it was a slick move, and t-baum was the victim |

I would have loved to have Menchov, however his wage quickly shot above what anyone could afford

What if you bid on riders so as to purposely lose your best one? Would that be allowed? |

Abuse of the system to avoid the half-wage-sacking fee.

Its not half wage to sack someone. If you want to sack a rider, it costs you the full amount of what their wage is - this has always been the case.
And Fenian, if a team ends the transfers over their salary cap, I will most likely take the teams best few riders away from them - not just the highest waged one to get back under the cap. Theres no reason why a team should go over the cap, and so if they do, thats their season ruined.

How many riders do you need for each race? Do you need more for certain races? |
