Doing good do, I think you have to focus on GC nr. 5, 7, 8. If Contador, Evans and Schleck are attacking no one can hold them! Get your top 5 place back!

STAGE 17 : BOURG-ST-MAURICE - LE GRAND-BORNAND
It´s maybe the ´queen stage´ at this years Tour de France. So it will be hard to get our top 5 place back from Sanchez and to stop Contador
Dessel was the only one in today´s breakaway
With more than 25km to go Karpets makes a surprising move to get back his 5th overall position
Vande Velde goes after Karpets
And so a leading group was formed with Vande Velde and Karpets
Behind them Sastre...
.....Evans and Contador.....
....Menchov...
...and Samuel Sanchez make their moves
Karpets and Vande Velde were still in front on the downhill
Sastre was the first one who could reach them
The chasing group with Contador ,Evans and many others
But after a few km the group with Karpets could only see Contador at the front!
Karpets had a lot of energy left so he tried to follow Alberto
But there was no chance to beat him again a stage win for Contador with 1 minute to .....
...Karpets!!Great result for us,now the question is where is Sanchez?
Andy Schleck became 4th behind Sastre
And with more than 2 minutes to Karpets Sanchez came !That means Karpets won back his 5th place
Stage results:

Very good anticipating! Maybe a better solution then what I told you to look at the nr. 5, 7 & 8. But attacking before the "war" starts was a better option in this one! Very good! I think you can hold it...
Also very good day for Sastré!

FIRST STAGE : CONCESIO - TOSCOLANO MADERNO
The breakaway
Cunego was the first one with an attack
But Mazzanti reacts fast and can follow him on the downhill
Bad luck for us Cunego was too fast on the downhill so Mazzanti has to attack again at the last hill today
But he´s not the only one!Basso,Pozzovivo attack,too
So this was the leading group but there were only a few metres in front of Cunego,Basso ....you can see that Marczynski made a move
After an attack by Marczynski and Mazzanti the pack weren´t able to hold them.so Marczynski was in front of Mazzanti by 30 seconds
Marczyinski is the winner of the first stage!
And Mazzanti can save his second place before the pack comes
Pozzovivo takes the third place in front of Eltink and Carrara
Stage results

STAGE 2 : BRESCIA - PASSO MANIVA
The breakaway
First attack comes from Masciarelli
Carrara and Pozzvivo can counter;Mazzanti´s day form is so bad that he isn´t ready for an attack
With only 4km to go Pozzovivo is far in front;even Basso and Cunego cannot follow him today
Last km for Pozzovivo!
And he takes a great stage win and the leader jersey which means that he will win this Tour because there´s only one flat stage left
Cioni becomes second
And Mazzanti comes after 3´40 to the finish he´s 28th in the overall now!Really really really bad stage for our team

i don´t think so because there´s still one flat stage in the end and one with a small hill before the finish. We will try to get this second place back!! |

BRIXIA TOUR
LAST STAGE : MANERBIO - PALAZZOLO
We weren´t able to form a sprint trains because of the tiredness of Markov
Because of this Serov tried to follow another sprint trains but they were really fast there
With only 4 km to the stage end Vona from ISD was able to get a little gap to the pack
But as the sprint begins he has no chance to stay with the best sprinters today.Behind, Serov tries to get a connection but the distance is probably to big
Van Hummel takes the stage in front of Ventoso and Kocjan.Serov becomes 8th.All in all our permormance there in Italy wasn´t really good expect the podium by Mazzanti!!

TOUR DE FRANCE
STAGE 19 : BOURGOIN-JALLIEU - AUBENAS
McEwen couldn´t keep the speed with the pack so he wasn´t there anymore.Steegmans could take a backwheel of the ´Haussler-Hushovd-Train´ but his energy wasn´t enough to sprint for the stage win
That wasn´t really bad because we still had Ignatiev!
Breschel was too fast no one could keep this speed up but Ignatiev was still on the second place
Breschel takes his second stage win at the Tour and Ignatiev...
.....becomes second in front of Kirchen and Cancallara!Great result for the young Russian
