With Bauer now back in the peleton its time for Stephenson/Rapha Condor-JLT to stretch his legs

He has now been joined by Konovalovas/MTN Qhubeka

Sojasun are on the front protecting there race leader Marino

The pack are now less than a minte behind

Konvalovas is the only rider left to caught

Inside the last five kilometres and there is no one team in charge

The yellow jersey of Marino makes a surprise attack at the red kite

But its Selander/Team Optum who comes out on top in the sprint for the line

Another day and another stage that i am really happy with. We were not in any trouble at all and Ben Swift finished the day off with a fine third place

And that is why we hate team time trials so much

Roth/Champion System, Habeaux/Accent Jobs and Duarte/Team Colombia are clear of the peleton by 3m 6s with another group of three riders somewhere inbetween

The three chasers have been picked back up by the peleton who are not forcing the issue just yet as they wait for the race to come alive

Topsport Vlaanderen have upped the pace at the front of the peleton

As we head towards the las twenty kilometres 3riders have become six with the addition of Knees/Sky Procycling, Zirbel/Team Optum and Sutton/Team Novo Nordisk

Knees has powered clear on his own

The five are giving chase but it doesn't look like the German will be brought back

Knees is inside the final kilometre and will soon be raising his arms in victory

And what a Great solo victory for the Sky rider

Well what can i say, a great ride from Gary today and he has been awarded with the Race Lead, now lets hope we can keep it until the end

I have just come to write up stage 5 of the Ras De Cymru and i am getting a message on my USB Drive which is telling me that my files are corrupted and will not let me open anything.
The folders had most of my screenshots on them and many of my stage results too so i am going to see if i can get around this somehow.
As you can expect i am not very happy

I have noticed that some of the files i have managed to save have now all got file 001, file 002 etc etc, which means that i am now going to have to match screenshots with the results, so it may be a bit time consuming so please be patient with me...

Fortunately i have now got the next stage of the Ras de Cymru

Ermeti/Androni, Morajko/CCC Polsat, Moyano/Caja Rural and Stephenson/Rapha Condor-JLT are the four riders who form the break at the moment

The yellow jersey of Race Leader Sutton/Team Novo Nordisk is being well looked after by his team mates

Konovalovas/MTN Qhubeka is trying to bridge across the gap on his own

Extra fluids is the order of the day as the break enters the business end of the stage

With no team willing to help out with the chasing, Team Novo Nordisk have to do it all themselves

Morajko ups the pace at the front and as of yet the others cannot respond

A massive mis-calculation by Team Novo Nordisk could mean that Sutton loses his race lead after just one day

The Polish rider still has a small advantage as we go under the flame rouge

And its just enough for him to take the stage win
