After riding away straight from the start Wilson/Bontrager, Stemper/5 Hour Energy, Drscoll/Jamis Hagens and Hagman/Jell Belly have buit up a lead of 6m 35s

The peleton are letting them have there time at the front

There advantage has began to fall and has come down by over two minutes

With the final climb now out of the way its all flat to the finish in Chattanooga

The foursome head in to the final twenty kilometres with 1m 34s on the chasing peleton

Fairly leads Team Novo Nordisk under the ten kilometres to go banner as the gap to the leaders get closer and closer

Wilson has attacked his fellow escapees

He keeps battling but the chase from behind has almost caught him

And from the chase comes Keough/UnitedHealthcare who becomes the new American Champion

Five riders have formed the first breakaway of these Championships, they are Richardson/NFTO, McGowan/MG Maxifuel, Tiernan-Locke/Sky Procycling, Spragg/Hope Factory Racing and Atkins/Eddie Stobart Pro Cycling

Green/Metaltek is chasing them down alone

We now have six riders at the front with a massive lead of 15m 21s

Blythe/Team Novo Nordisk has come to the front of the peleton to try and force the pace

Wiggins/Sky Procycling has decided to leave the peleton and give chase even though his team mate is in the front group

In to the business end of the race and Richardson and Tiernan-Locke have gone off the front together

McGowan and Spragg are back on terms

Spragg lauches his attack at the red kite

But he is no match for Richardson who becomes the British Champion

Barbero/Euskadi, Hernandez/Burgos, Fernandez/OFM, De La Cruz/Tean NetApp Endura, Mantecon/Orbea, Noval/Team Saxo Tinkoff, Herrero/Neri Sottoli and Aramendia/Caja Rural are the eight riders in the break with a lead of 5m 12s

Euskaltel, Movistar and Katusha are leading the chase due to not having a rider present in the breakaway

Garcia/Cofidis has made it across the gap from the peleton and gone straight to the front to up the pace once again

Its all change at the front with the break being caught and now Garcia and Lopez/Sky Procycling up the road

Contador has just gone on the attack as we reach the final twenty kilometres

But the group behind are not letting him get too far away

He has a twenty nine seconds lead

They catch him just inside the red banner

And its Rodriguez of Katusha who is the new Champion of Spain
