this is so frustrating. since '07 nobody can beat him; it's like a damn bugatti
The only non-retired stage racer who is better than him right now isn't going to race the tour, so it should be pretty boring.
Then again, when is the tour exciting?
Oh well....it's likely they'll go head to head in the Vuelta. That should be interesting
speaking of Basso ?
yep.
you scared me.i thought you were meaning sastre because of last year |

No, not tomorrow. Basso's keeping a low profile and very very slowly building for May.
In any case, the Montelupone is a power climb. A hill. A tremendously hard hill. It's for punchy riders to win and for non punchy riders to stay close on GC

Tomorrow, Di Luca and RodrÃguez would be my main picks. Maybe Rebellin.

No idea. He says his team wants him to be in top form from tomorrow to the end of may so he can be team leader at the Tirreno, Ardennes and Giro.
I say they're insane.
EDIT: also, he's Caisse team leader for the Vuelta too.

About Rodriquez..and Caisse. They should start to look alternative ..because you all know that sad Piti story. Rodriquez is good one for Vuelta..he was good last year.
Team up on downs...
Quickstep star seasons then few years weaker and weaker..now they slowly having glory back.
Then Caisse was gigantic team..now they are like shadows from past. |

I don't think it's possible to keep good form from march to may, not even from april classics to may. It;s very hard |

didn't notice it, but that's really true : without Valverde, Caisse would lost a lot of its ambitions, even though guys like Rodriguez, LL sanchez, pereiro and gutierrez are strong riders |

Caisse blew up the group. David López reduced it to him, Sánchez, Contador, Colom, Joly, Chavanel, Voigt and Frankie Schleck. Evans far behind.
Now Colom gaps everyone but Contador.
Almost at the top of the climb, then almost 30kms downhill, then the final short climb
EDIT: Schleck and Sánchez bridge up now.
EDIT2: Toni attacks once again. Today he's doing grrrrrrrreat.
(you may kill me now)
EDIT3: now Sanchez and Contador bridge. Frank's dropped.

He's been saying for months that his major goal for the season is Paris-Nice and maybe a Grand Tour. Same for Sánchez and Contador.
It just goes to show that you can't win Paris-Nice unless you specifically prepare to arrive here in top form.
