Stage 8
Circuit stage with big mountain in, riders will climb three times.
Andrey Amador, young Caisee talented rider attacks just before 2nd summit and goes for long solo ride.
3rd and last climb. As expected, wawes of attacks are coming, Casar is first...
...then Gesink, Brandt, Di Luca, Lovkvist, Vandevelde...
...for some unknown reason Leipheimer can´t count with Contador´s help today, so he decides to follow attackers.
And he joined them quite easily.
It´s good to see Bouet in much better condition today.
Last mountain sprint of race, Amador is still alone in front.
Levi Leipheimer want to confirm his overall victory by winning of last stage, he attacks in last downhill.
But Amador is able to hold small advantage until finish and celebrates win, great performance of young talent.
Levi Leipheimer finishes in same time as 2nd, he wins whole race without any stage victory.
Maxime bouet takes nice 7th place ahead of Vandevelde. Good finish from my captain.

Although I hoped for TOP10 overall, I´m quite satisfied. Three podium places in such strong competition is a good result. Now I´m aiming to last sponsors´ goal, TOP3 in Route du Sud, 4 stage long race. Maxim Bouet in top shape will be my leader there.

Stage 1
My goal is to try gain some seconds due to attack in small hill before finish.
Huge breakaway group between sunflowers.
It´s clear that breakaway will succeed. However Bouet makes tactical plans and attacks.
But he´s not alone, several strong riders followed him.
Fukushima celebrates his second season´s victory! But due to bonifications, 2nd Mangel will wear yellow jersey tomorrow.
Plaza fetched group of chasers with nice advantage over peloton. It´s a good start for Bouet.

Stage 2
Hard climb into finish, this is chance to start to fill sponsors´ goal.
Bottom of Col de Montsegur, 10 men are in front. Some decent climbers are presented.
Few moments later, group is starting to split.
My men together with Moncoutie are working hard to catch escapees, but their advantage seems to be too high...
3km to go, only 4 men are in front, Fabry with C.Pineau have dropped his companions.
Cedric Pineau can´t follow Mathie Fabry anymore.
Looks like Superman have decided to visit race!
Plaza, Efimkin and Bouet launch crushing attack in last minute...but it must be too late...
Second stage and second successful break, Fabry takes great win!
Pineau holds second place ahead of Plaza and Bouet. Bouet moves forward in Gc, he´s now 5th with minimal loss.

Stage 3
Stage I´ve been waiting for. Today it will decide about success or failure of my mission here. Profile fits perfectly to Maxime, hope my team will avoid any tactical mistakes or bad luck.
Col d´Aspin, well known climb from Le Tour...peloton finally splits onto many parts. 4 riders from daily breakaway are still ahead - Zeits, Voeckler, Vold and Villa. All seems to be ok at this moment, my men are working hard for their captain, Moucharaud is last who can protect him.
After short descent we are in last climb, Hourquette d´Ancizan, remaining escapees were caught, there is 16 men including Bouet in leading group. Unfortunately he stays alone here.
Joly and Efimkin launch attack, this is serious threat!
Plaza with Bouet have decided it´s time for move and start chasing leading duo. Noone else can follow.
Situation on the summit... Efimkin...Plaza with Bouet are few seconds back...Joly can´t follow them...next is Fabry´s group. Yellow jersey is somewhere back.
Plaza and Bouet joined Efimkin in downhill.
Last 3km are flat, Plaza lost his nerves and tries to decide by attack!
Attack was short and weak, Plaza was easily caught.
Efimkin is next!
And Plaza has cracked, he can´t respond!
Last kilometer, Efimkin or Bouet? It´s tactical battle.
Bouet accelerates first and Efimkin have lost control, Maxime bridges huge gap!
Great tactical ride and win for my captain. He´s new tour leader and will defend yellow jersey in last stage tomorrow! Plus he holds sprinter and U25 jerseys as well!

I´m really very very glad that you like my story, but I´m afraid I have to disappoint you I´m looking forward for V3 and am decided to start new career after final release....main reasons are:
1) slower training process (promised by PCM daily DB crew). Take a look at G_Larsson´s "autobiographical" story. His abilities has grown too much and too rapidly during first three months. And it´s similar in my game...
2) I would like to minimize unrealistic transfers...it´s really weird to see small continental teams like brittish or venezuelan with riders from 15 different nations...my abilities to changing DB to my own image are very limited, there are some columns related this, but I don´t know, how it works properly. So I think that easiest way is to reduce list of free riders. I just want to delete most of them.
3) I´m looking forward to new scouting areas. For example it makes new sence and impulse to play with my favourite Gobernacion del Zulia team when scouting of Venezuela region will be possible.
I hope you like my new story as this one |

I don´t really know at this moment. I´m only sure it won´t be neither super strong (Astana, Saxo...) nor super weak (Energi Fyn...) team. |
