Well I thought Kirchen would take the tour green jersey, so as long as Silence Lotto ensure that breakaways dont take the points on flat stages I reckon he will win it

"Freire and Boonen? It really depends on the kind of sprint. I have beaten them both before." - Hinault
You've WHAT? Yeah, I can remember him beating Boonen in the Tour of Germany 2004. He anticipated the sprint a little, when noticing Boonen was a little boxed to react in time, and despite Boonen being faster it was too late for anyone to beat him.
As for Freire, I can't think of an example, but well, sometimes Freire takes it easy and ends up 10th in bunch sprints, whereas he can win other bunch sprints, so it's likely Hinault has beaten Freire in bunch sprints already, but not really a Freire who would give it all without being boxed, etc.
As for the other riders he beat yesterday, nothing too surprising there, they all have more or less the same sprinting level. |

Looking very bad for Valverde today. Bit of a "school boy" error?
Astana are tearing it up in orter to take maximum advantage.

I hope he'll break his collar bone or something tomorrow, so Cunego will be the captain for Italy in Varese. That man is just fantastic.

What a great day, Gesink wins 3 places in the GC, and with his favourite terrain, ultra-steep climbs, still to come |

Doesn´t make it better when you wish someone else that he should broke him something... |

No, but it looks like i said cunego is fantastic, but i meant Bettini. cunego is fantastic to, but that's not the point.
Anyway, i think it was stupid of me to say what I said about Bettini. I guess that sort of thoughts is the kind of what you're just not telling anybody.
