we all know what happens with athlet who is so much better then other's. (Florence Griffith Joyner, Marion Jones etc.)

If this 22-year old cyclist, a cyclist who had been praised as a future star for a long time, suddenly beat Marco Pantani's 36.50 on Alpe d'Huez, what would we think? And what would we think if this team, a team containing some of the greates cyclists, won five mountain-stages and had a 1-2-3 on one of them?
Can we even think? Would we just believe the UCI when they told us, as they had done before, that we were winning the fight against doping? Why not...
Never.

Nono, we're just aware of the subtle border between very good and extraterrestrial And, we're suspicious to the Santi Perez' and the CSF Navigares

Nelson Evora of Portugal won the gold medal in the Men's Triple Jump with a jump of 17.67 meters at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Phillips Idowu of Great Britain jumped 17.62m to capture silver, while Leevan Sands of the Bahamas took bronze with a jump of 17.59m.
I know there's one guy who has learned his lesson today.
Check out Nelson's video on youtube, it's boring on the begginning but on minute 3:44 he jumps the hurdles like a rabbit.
Naide Gomes was the other portuguese Jumper Joker having been european and world champion but she greatly messed up at qualifying. These things shouldn't happen with countries that have a very small repertoire of athletes but at least there's the consoloation of her being a little hottie.

EDIT: how funny were them army men Why the hell were they walking like that
You know that that girl wasn't even singing? Apparently the girl that sang didn't have straight enough teeth so they made a tape of her singing and got that girl to mime. They probably shot the one with crooked teeth just before. |

Hey now, Denmark got silver in something that involves rowing with two men. Something along the lines of "in your face Sweden" seems appropriate.

The judging in some of the 'combat' events like Boxing and Taekwondo really has been appalling in this Olympics. Always incredibly biased towards the Chinese participants - so much for judges being impartial .. theyre not even close sometimes!
