Didn't even know Dupont was in the race.

If the Giro is decided by miscommunication from the race leadership, a few people should get fired.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

It's not decided yet. There a valley now, and the Quintana group is quite small. |

Quintana got 1 minute on Uran on the descent [according to ES PL - which means according to some official communication which may be wrong as hell] which was neutralized at first and then it has turned out it wasn't. Monty Python.

Strong group off the front of the Uran group!
Rolland, Quintana and teammate, Hesjedal, Rabottini and someone else I think.

In those same 20 years, the sport has made a huge effort to get cleaner and there is evidence that it is also safer. Funny coincidence I guess!

Well if that was the case then most descents woud be neutralized, remeber that riders have died or been injured on rather "easy" roads.

So, there never was a neutralization planned? Keyser Soze!
Quintana said earlier that Rolland would be a good ally for him. Guess Rolland considers Quintana a good one too.
Despite all the confusion, this is fantastic racing. Guys are building themselves a little monument.

20 years ago we also had death accidents. I know what I prefer. |

Sure they did. What I meant is if they are descending/riding in extreme conditions safet should always come before the sport I can't remember for example anyone raging on Turkey organisers for cancelling the racing in bad weather/slippery tarmac conditions. They were praised in fact - by Cav for example. |

Het Nieuwsblad (yes, those guys from Omloop ) had the gap at 2:30, but it's going below 2 minutes now.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

It's rather embarrasing that you have the urge to ridicule such decisions of the peloton or the race organization by claiming it's "pussy racing".

EDIT - any bets on the GC now?
Danger and suffering were always part of cycling and i hope it stays that way. We have more dead footballers than cyclists in races. Shit happens
