I could help you as far as the rider's photos is concerned because is spent thousands of hours searching on the internet the "perfect" photo of avery single bike rider in the DB.
I also think riders we haven't had any sight of life for two years (such as Glenn Bak) should be deleted from the DB to avoid to have 12000 riders with half of them not riding anymore. |

When installing the first part of the variants, this error shows up. It basically says it cannot copy the file due to a corrupted source file. From here on, every other variants file, including the files in the second part, give this error.
How can this be solved? |

I've faced the same problem. But actually the game crashes 1 day before the Tour, so I don't think that the problem is in stage 1 of TDF |

It's a fantastic job for the DB and the huge number of teams and riders.
here is my quick fix for it, hope that this not anger the shirt maker, if so, he can write to me and I'll delete it 
TPT mark at sleeves doesn't fit well at suture, but can't do anything about it without screwing shadow lines of 3D looking.

It's normal, for me It stays like this about 3 minutes than It shows up
when you open all of them same time, time for open is exponentially increase... I don't like these install files, but It's best database so there is not a option
so open only one at time, wait and It will show up in some minutes

Same error message for me when installing part 2 of the database.
The first time, I got this error message about halfway the installation. Retrying didn't work, neither did ignoring so I had to abort installation.
I tried installing it a second time after downloading the installer again and it gave the same error message for a different file much earlier.
This time, I could ignore it, but it gave the error message for every single file he tried to install afterwards.
After giving up, I uninstalled part 1 of the database and suddenly my game wouldn't start anymore so I had to completely reinstall the game.

You need to go further in the topic.
Further in the topic, there are
- 2 Variant parts
- 3 Database parts
And even further, there are updates(latest is 1 page back), but these are only a .cdb file, you need to download the third DB part as well.
