Stage Three
The final sprinters stage will see Auber 93 riding dominant in yellow, showing our talent to the world.
A usual break went, and as is the norm with cya-logic we sent Morizot in it to make sure it would be brought back.
Sure enough it was, and so we set up our train once more, Malacarne leading Gaudin, Drujon, Balducci and then Tronet.
Turning into the final 3 km, Malacarne was once more leading it out, but without Tronet on his wheel, we doubted the lead out would be as successful as the previous day.
And under the 1 km to go banner, and neither Tronet or Drujon were making any head way. The win would go to Bozic, as would the lead until tomorrows ITT of 22km in length.

Stage Four
An Individual time trial will see Feillu, Drujon, Tronet, Balducci and the rest of the pure sprinters out of the chase for the overall. The exception being of course Pollack who can himself put in a good time trial when needed.
Morizot went out and set a good time to aim for, coming 4th with only 98 riders left to race!
Belkov was next in line for Auber 93's chances, and he set an outstanding time that would last all of one rider, until Velits beat him by less than a second.
Belkov nearly catches the man in front.
Pollack did enough to keep a good top 10 position in the GC. Lucky them!

The final stage
A hilly finale will probably see Ignatiev keep his lead, but we hope to move up in the rankings with a few well placed attacks.
Drujon went with the break today and managed to take enough climbers points to take the jersey!
As soon as the chase started however, Martinez, 5th placed overall, hit a wheel, went down and his entire squad went back to help him. He'd never make it, and he'd lose his placing.
Sure enough, the pack caught the break, with 10km to go, and so Malacarne put in a dig to try and get clear.
A few riders tried to counter, and so Belkov and Gaudin did too. They'd make it across to Malacarne with a slender 14 second lead going into the final 3 km.
And no, they didn't hold out.

Already have, but i'm struggling for results in the one dayers, everyone else is just that little bit better. In a tour i can make up the difference in sneaky attacks/second gains etc, but in a single day if i attack i get brought back, if i dont the group gets away. Silly.

Another unfortunate point is that i've run OUT of stage races to get points in... so its down to the end of season cobble races which hopefully Gaudin will dominate and down to the flat one days with Tronet and Drujon... It's so close, yet could be so far... I can hope however that Agritubel and Ceramica's racing days are over... i think hope is the key word here...

Keep replaying races until you win them
Arent there races such as the Herald Sun Tour?
Chrono des Herbiers could also be good as it doesnt always attract strong tters.

Chrono is where i got Tinkoff promoted in my first ever game. I won it I'm looking to do the same But i reckon Gaudin will pick up a lot more points in about 5 cobble races just coming up. I'll do them now, and post the reports in a little while... B)

A single day Italian Hilly classic. Just what we suck at!
The Giro del Veneto has a brutal last climb, which will be where the race winning move will go for sure.
We bring a strong squad here with the hope of getting something.
Also those who still need experience from this kind of racing have come along too.
Malacarne eventually got in a break.
Which was brought back by the steep climb. Belkov tried an attack, and then Levarlet. Whilst Levarlet got away, he wasn't going to stay away, and the leaders on the road had over a minute on him by the top.
So he sat up, and Gaudin had a dig on the flat, which didn't work. So Levarlet prepared for the sprint as the riders up front took the win.

A single day classic again, classed as a flat stage because of the inability of breakaways to get away with the short sharp climbs followed by move-ending descents. Drujon was pipped as a favourite, but we were damned if we were going to work for it.
Another strong squad to back up our leaders.
Only the one rider managed to get away, and he stayed away for 100km, before the attacks started up again, and he was reeled back in. Brouzes was one of these attackers, and he got across to a Lotto rider who'd gone the lap before.
After a few laps together it was clear one of these two would win, as the pack had sat up! While contemplating an attack, Brouzes fellow breakaway partner just started to fade.
Disastor then struck for him, as he crashed on the corner of a descent, just as Drujon had crossed over to him.
Of course, with 10 km left, no one would bridge the 2 minute gap to Brouzes, and Drujon pulled out a minute on the pack.
A great win for us, and the 2nd place as well takes us into the second spot for Promotion!!!!!

Heres a race that I'm meant to win!
And we bring to the table our best cobbled riders, that are easily as good as the next best in the race. If i don't dominate i've had a terrible day.
Straight out we keep the pace nice and easy, and protect Gaudin of course.
A break gets away up the road of 10 riders, but with the highest cobbled rider there having 54 as their stat, we weren't overly worried.
By the time the bunch hits the first cobbled section, the lead is upto 6 minutes, but the end, down to 2.
And as we approach the final few sectors, Gaudin puts in a vicious attack that catches the break, and goes right past.
But its not enough as Lotto pull it back for De Vocht to launch a counter attack.
With 4km to go, Gaudin has done too much work once more, and blows up, letting worse riders go past him.
De Vocht wins in style.
(i had - 3 or worse on every rider apart from Diguet who had + 5 - thats my excuse and i stand by it whole heartedly...)
