Thats why i always play with Random Potential.
Chances are he will still be a great talent, but there is a strong change he won't be
Makes the game all the more fun not knowing which riders will be good in the future

That's not a bad idea, but I'm always afraid that Wilco won't develop great in that case
Don't take that too seriously btw, I'm not thát obsessed...

Various potential doesn't do much. E.g., a rider with potential 6 might be potential 7, 5, but not more than that. |

Trust me, it can make one hell of a massive difference!
I've seen a Potential 2 become the greatest rider in the DB in 2 seasons
And i've seen all the big name future greats never grow

Fun fact from my career:
Moreno Moser develops like a rocket, and is already 81 Hill in July 2013(so just after 0,5 season) Wtf, where does this end?!

Playing with Bardiani on my non-story career and just won Milan - San Remo with Enrico Battaglin! No-one wanted to take control of the final sprint so I went early with him and he held off the peloton, couldn't believe it! |

Always worth searching for a sponsor! You will never be forced to sign with them before july so to me its always worth searching. You might come across a sponsor that looks cool.
As a World Tour team you will be able to attract some big sponsors and really boost your budget from what it currently is.

Search for a new sponsor!
Always do that anyway, nothing to lose(it costs a little bit budget for a negiotiater, but most of the time you can 'win' that back with the sponsor they find).
Monthly 45,000 is awful. You should search for international sponsors, you are a WT team, you should at least get f.e. 150000 per month. You will find them, believe me.

Started a career with Madison Genesis with the PCMDaily 2013 DB on normal (yes I am still a bit of a noob with Pro Cycling Manager and I did do the first three races on easy )
A nice start for the season winning the New Zealand Cycle Classic with Dean Downing (though one of his stage wins was on easy). Even got Tennant on second place. Now gonna race the Valley of the Sun Stage Race. I am mostly racing British/American Races but I also some in France due to Sponsor Goals. Goal is to mostly do well and if possible promote to Pro Continental Tour.

Just started year 2 of the game, Alba came top 10 at Tour Down Under, and Aidis Kroupis came 3rd at Tour of Qatar. |

Im am doing well with Ag"R, ncentini is sixth in UCI reankings, very consistent top tens in Tirreno Vasco, Romandie, Catalunya and 6th in LBL
Now for Giro with Pozzovivo
Peraud and gadret wont be worth much on the tour I fear |

For a team like AG2R the main goal for the Tour should either be a top 10 or the Polka Dot Jersey. Gadret and Peraud can surely try for the later one. |

Wow my team is really cruising through Sprints. Just finished the Valley of the Sun Stage Race. Dean Downing nailed my team another two wins (The Stage 2 one was even a 1-2 for my team, though stage 3 was a photo-finish with Alex Candelario) and the Points Classification. Ian Bibby got 2nd in the overall after being 4th in the initial time trial and 2nd in Stage 2 while Andrew Tennent secured 4th overall.
Maybe I should move to Hard in Sprint Stages but I will see how the rest of the season goes. After all my team is one of the best CT teams for Sprints. |

Just finished the Ardennes classics with Argos. Gerdemann finished 11th and 9th at AGR and LBL, but the best result was a 6th at the Fleche with Koen de Kort.
I also signed the first neo-pro for next year. An American who, despite being a climber, won pretty much every bunch sprint in the U23 races. He looks very nice, despite lacking time trialing.

What a great talent he is! Post him in the Talent thread when you can see his potential
Anyway guys, I've got a problem.
Every time that there's a PCMdaily update, I lose my motivation to continue my current career.
I want to play with the newest PCMdaily DB in that case
So is the case now, with that stat-update.
I might've found a solution though, I'll use a .cdb that's basically the PCMdaily stats update, but with some stats edits from me. I solved some CT stats(especially BeNeLux ones), and if a result far above average occurs at a rider(Sayar at the moment for example), I'll edit him in my .cdb file, so that I stay a bit up-to-date, and the urge to play the next PCMdaily DB which gets me quit the existing careers will be less. Editing the stats slightly for the best riders helps keeping me motivated in the future as well(And yes, I kept myself from seriously highering Dutch riders, are you proud of me now? )
I will download the updates, of course I will, but I won't abandon my current career in that case, just play 2 careers I guess
The next PCMdaily update will take a while anyway...
But I'm going to start a new career soon, I will inform you about it when I got it.
