Ohhh so close. If only someone better than Rodriguez was still there to be the first guy on the train...
Oh well, two stage wins and two guys in the Top-30. Expected a bit better from Velits but can't really say this was disappointing.
Looking forward to the rest of the season. Some good races for Bakelants, Vanderbiest and Machado coming up.
And congrats to SN on the quality reports and the nice innovations put into them for the TdF

What a great Tour SN, it was the best of quality throughout, and extremely exciting. Can't complain about the results either, thanks!
Also, congrats to fenian, I wouldn't have expected that level of dominance from Cunego.

Great reports all the way, SN!
Congratulations to fenian, for a huge overall victory, and to mattiasgt, for ending the Tour the way the way they started it, winning. |

Certainly - one for the record books this tour. An excellent gathering of talent and it was thrilling for my team to be a part of it. We did what we could, I like to think the team tried to animate the race with breakaways. Our sprinter Impey struggled, but at least took a big step towards fulfilling his late blooming potential.
JRB are greedy and hungry for more, the next month (when a lot of our promotion rivals have key mountain stage races) will be key to determining whether that is possible. We will take in one more Protour race this year at Colombia - which I guess will be a race for Cunego.
It was an outstandingly written Tour the last queen stage and final TT in particular were excellently written (even if the queen stage was slightly strangely raced by the riders). The reports are always what makes the man game special - we have had some cracking additions to the reporting team this year. This is a great standard bearer.

Fantastic reporting SN, thankyou very much.
Little dissapointing GC from Dan Martin, but, looking at the people above him, I don't know who I would really expected him to have beaten. King of the Mountains is great though - super happy with Duret, also seems to ride beyond his means.

So progression continues for Pluchkin!
2009: 12th
2010: 7th
2011: 4th
2012: 3rd
Next year with even stronger backup in the mountains from Guldhammer, maybe Arndt, he will be back to win it!
Good race!

CdC should give us a good amount of money. After doing their work in the last mountain stage, now Florencio is leading out for Cunego...
Good TdF for me - the stage win that I wanted and a 12th place in the gc.
Great reports, SN.

If I remember Arndt stats he should in due time be a perfect helper, might be too early next season but you got a really nice guy there
Good reports SN, I hope my season can turn around again (the Denmark results should help) so I can hopefully ride the TDF next year

Awesome. Never could have guessed that it would go so well in the tour. Granjel Cabrera and Trofimov have been completly outstanding. Although, it would have been a bit more suiting if I had "win stage" goal here instead of a "top ten GC" one, haha.
Thanks SN for giving all the stages well written reports.

Great reports SN, congrats to fenian.
Really nice first Tour de France for me. I really enjoyed it, and as Henao did really solid here with 10th place overall, I have to be satisfied with results as well.

Fantastic - never certain to win it until he gets over the line in yellow.
Thanks for the reports too, SN. Was a pleasure to win such a well presented and well written race. |

Fothen blew another goal for me by crashing, but atleast he picked up a stage win.

I'm not entirely sure I want to see it, but can we have a rankings update SN?

disappointing overall from Phinney, will perhaps need to keep him to riding only short tours. Something to consider after the season, but as always good tt's and some strong stage performances.
Good effort from the rest of the team, and congrats to fenian for taking the risk and being rewarded for it.
