That was a really good race. Best of the WC so far imo.
And a very superior win for Lecuisinier. Impressive. |

The common Frenchman can barely speak English, but the best 20 or 30 % of us are able to speak a correct English (if you don't mind our accent ).
Keep in mind that generally-speaking, French cyclists are not the ones who were the best pupils at school. And we can grow up in this country and make a living out of something without ever needing to speak or understand English (be it to watch TV or anything), which explains a lot of thing about the general level in English. |

I must say, how on earth did Denmark earn 6 spots for this race? They virtually did nothing, except for one late attack, with about 1,5 lap to go, when the 6 guys were up front.
Well, three of them got involved in a crash that delayed them quite a bit. |

I blame dubbing movies and TV shows. Only childrens programs gets dubbed here, grownups know how to read subtitles. |

What the hell are the women doing? Chatting for 139km and then sprint for the victory?

That would be a wise strategy in this course.

Why waste energy attacking when it all ends up in a sprint anyway - seems like good logic to me |

This could turn interesting now, if the GPS is right, Hughes has a slight chance now. And I hope she wins, simply because she actually attacked
But I guess Holland has control on this. |
