This looks more and more set for Gilbert, eventhough he only has one man left......He can most likely follow most of the coming attacks. Disappointing that no one gave it a go on Redoute.

When they chasing breakaway..that is not smart timing to atack..(when you are not Cancellara)..best tactic for Lotto will be chase that breakaway down..but slowly.

Lotto didn't let any Leopard guys get in the break. This meant they would have the strongest team helping them pull back the break. That was very well done.

Now it's up to Gilbert to pick up the axe

Go early and you can challenge him, if they don't drop him before Saint Nicolas then they won't win

In my opinion, Redoute would have been a great time to attack for some of the favourites. Their isn't that many helpers left to chase, Fuglsang and Vanendert is probably the only ones with power left.

issoisso: I know, that's also why I mean Leopard should try to attack now/Redoute. Gilbert is forced to follow any move from Leopard/favourites, Vanendert isn't that strong. And with Fuglsang & Schlecks they would have had 3 strong cards to play, now they're left with two (Schlecks) and less kilometres left....

Gap is again 45sec. and eurosport guys are exited again..morons. One climb with full speed and that time is gone

You are watching the German ESP I guess? Smile
It`s just hilarious how they always get excited for less important things.

Oh, there they go. Why do I immediately think of TdF, Schlecks. vs Contador? Pfft

And I take back everything I've said about the tactics, the rest of the bunch is completely dead it seems, at least compared to those 3. A class above the rest.

schleck93
If the schlecks play this like the played the La Grand Bornard stage in the Tour in 09, Gilbert has this in the bag.

This could be really good if Fränk manages to not to fall. The Schlecks have the best possible scenario to beat Phil.

Those 3 are in a hurry to the podium ceremony Pfft
