What else do you expect when you play against Blind, Bruno Martens Indi, Ron Vlaar, Jordie Clasie, Promes, Boëtius and Vd Wiel?
I mena quality of players
France = international top players
Holland = Eredivisie players + 2/3 top players
Eredivisie = Ajax = can't even beat Salzburg but lose 6-1 (3-0 and 3-1)
So basically France just beat Ajax with less goals than Salzburg. They did bad!

Chile would have earned a huge win against Germany today. They played really awesome but weren`t able to score at least one goal.
On the other side Germany scored one goal with almost no chances.
Chile really could become one of the big surprises at the Worlds.

Oh that sounds good. Chile outplaying Germany while we suck heavily against France.
Van Gaal has adapted his prediction for the amount of group points we can score

@ ruben : vd wiel is good in PSG. Just to remind you it's only the 2nd defeat of NL since van gaal became the trainer. And France became a really strong team, i think they are outsiders behind Spain, Brazil and Italy.

We had a super weak qualification group, so it says nothing that we went unbeaten.
Our last defeat was against Belgium btw so that really says enough.
I don't deny you have a strong team.
I'm just saying Holland have a really weak team compared to 4 years ago.

Not sure where to put this but Australia played Ecuador today in one of our pre-WC friendlies. We were up 3-0 at half time and lost the game 4-3.
This is why I despair of Australian Football.
In positives, Jedinak is our new Captain and Cahill broke the all-time Australian record for top scorer for the national side.

In 2008? I thought that was the incident with Henry's handsball. In 1998 you also had free qualification, due to organisation

By that understanding, you also can't really count 2002, where they automatically qualified by being the World Champion.
