This.
Anyway, Gesink goes for broke in every single race he rides, unlike most riders, and that's what I like about him
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified

It was a hilly TT yes, but it remains a TT, and I told you before the TT he had a good chance here (of keeping the lead) and people were already shouting "He can't TT"
Like I always said. The only thing he is weak at are totally flat 40km TT's. And even then, the Tour 2010 and Suisse 2010 were anomalies, since usually he finishes 25/35th in flat ITT's. Not 108th and 40th |

Congrats to Gesink...Very surprised, but bravo. Looking forward to seeing how he can cope with a 3 week tour this year.
Visconti also very interesting.... |

Just watched it. Good entertaining race - Basso looks in good nick - a shame Ponzi wasn't able to finish things off - especially as Sagan 'won' the sprint back in the main group. |

I don't know what Gesink is aiming for, but i could imagine that he weill try to win a race like Paris - Nice - maybe Tirreno, i guess Paris - Nice. Then i don't know about the País Vasco, but he'll try to Win Amstel.
And yes, then the Tour of fcourse - i think he'll end 4-6 this year |

His goals are the Ardennes classics and a TDF podium.
He wouldn't do it for place 4-6...that would mean no improvement in comparison with 2010 |

Well I guess after Schleck, Basso and Sammy, Gesink is the next favourite so he might as well aim for the podium

Not to mention Pelucchi and Bouhanni. Degenkolb and Matthews are doing good in Algarve. A lot of potential top sprinters have appeared this season.
Good for Cavendish to grab his first win this season.

Not 100% sure but I think Van Garderen completes the great HTC result and finished 2nd ahead of Contador on the 3rd.
Or was even Klöden ahead of Contador?

Looking forward to Martin vs Cancellara ITT battles this season. Think Martin can still improve a bit but is already challenging Cancellara a lot.
