1) Just add a single waypoint. Can be a forest or sea or whatever. Than search errors and go to the single point. Then you can zoom very close to everything.
2) The stage can be 300km. Just not if it`s a strict road without corners. But the shortest line from the first to the last point mustn`t be under 210km or what the error says.
So normally you should be able to build another road and add some more route points there.
3) Is there any error news? Maybe bad route or something like this?
Normally it should appear. Is there a start or mountain in profile view or in the menu on the right?
1) Thanks.
2) The problem is that when I press "Add" on finish line and try to right click at the end of the route it says something like: "Not possible to add." I do have 2 km road after the end of the route, but I can still not add the finish line.
3) I mean't that that start kit with the start line doesn't show up. The editor says that it is added but I can't see it.

2) Pull the last roadpoint with a route flag a little bit longer. So the route is not 100km long but 105km for example. Than you should be able to add the finish flag on the 100km "lenght". After and before finish and start there must be 2km route (not just road but also the flags).
3) Quite weird. Never had this problem. Could you upload the stage or as PM, then I will have a look on it. |

2) Thanks, will try that.
3) I quitted making the stage so I only have the GPX file.

Once again sorry for doubleposting but I have one last question.
When i am adding road to a stage, sometimes it does just add the line that is normally on top of the road. I tried deleting the last road-point and adding road again, but that didn't help.
How do I solve this?

Probably you create in the top view window. Then often you just see the line there instead of a road.
If you change to window mode then the road texture will be loaded and you can also see it in top view mode.

Change Longitude Max to Latitude Max. That solved it for me.

Otherwise you can change to 4th or 5th digit. (Not sure if this is correct in English, meant the number after the comma)
Then always check if the route is still on the whole map.
If it`s out of it on one side change it again until the whole route is there again.
It happens with long stages without many corners. So a strict line. Then you must go very close to each sides with start and finish. Unfortunately the editor makes it normally so that the start is still 5cm in the picture and the finish 2 cm out of it.
So with the changed digits you can move the whole picture.
Just in case that Pellizotti`s solution doesn`t work.
In 90% it works with his way.

Changing the numbers so the Longitude or Latitude numbers gets closer will allways work.

good morning
excuse my English.
I wanted to ask three questions
1.While create an stage with the editor how do I set the weather (rain, fog, etc.)?
2. I created a race and imported into the database, but how do I get it to run "big"? The game features found in cycling but never the big teams.
3. in a row variant file descr. and. essre rules as they should be appointed? (Such as the Tour de France Tour de France.rules file must be called?)
thanks and congratulations to all

You have to wait a few minutes after pressing "Rebuild all cities". The more cities you have in this stage, the longer takes the rebuild. Don't touch anything in these minutes in the editor... When i do stages, i press the "rebuild city" after adding a single city or village and save everytime before i add another. By doing this, you know which city is causing an eventual crash |

Thanks, so then it was my bad patience that caused the crash.

Maybe it has been answered before. I have a problem at playing a self made stage. Everything seems correct after creating it, but when I select my stage to play it crash and gets me to the deskstop. Anyone knows where could be the problem?
Thanks. |

Do you try it in a career or did you rename your stage like an existing classic and open this one?
2nd way is easier to test and should always work. Just rename it to the Hamburg classic race if it is a flat race or to San Sebastian race if it`s hill or the Tourmalet stage if it`s a MTF for example. Backup these files before of course. Then open these stages in game.
If you try it in career and it crashes then you probably did a mistake editing them or they aren`t in the right folder. CM_Stages. |

Thanks. I selected the stage editing the DB, but it wasn't in Cm_stages, it was in another folder. I copied it to Cm_steges and selected from there and now it's fixed. |
