Messy stage to say the least. I'm kind of glad Evans got rid of the GC lead, but losing 45 seconds wasn't great. It was a good sprint though. Weylandt deserved the win, he was the smartest and quickest.

I agree. Unless he's gonna fight wholeheartedly for Basso, his chances are really good. |

Liquigas often seem to do fine with 2-4 leaders in their teams.
Last year, Basso and Pellizotti.
Tour, Nibali, Kreuziger, and to some extent Pellizotti.

But there they never had to lead. If one of them gets the leader jersey it will be harder with 2 captains. |

No it won't. It means the co-captain covers any moves and gets to sit on. Whilst the captain defends the lead.
There is only a problem if the one rider who isn't in the lead suddenly wants to become selfish.
Look at the Vuelta that Contador won. He managed to work fine with Leipheimer, and there was no issue there.

No im getting tired of all this Vino hate. The man has been back for almost a year, he won LBL and Terrention, he is also having the bloodpasport, and now until proven guilty he should be alowed to race. I am happy for him, he is not a wheelsucker, he makes races interesting.
People should forget about the past!

There has been two slightly negative comments towards Vino. Get over it.

Once a cheat, always a cheat.
To prove my point. Lance armstrong cut a corner once, and he is clearly a cheat. Case closed. |

Until he admits he doped, and then expresses genuine remorse for doping, and pleads, nay begs, for forgiveness to the world of cycling, and it's fans, then no, I will not forget his past.
And until that day, I will still consider him to be doped up to his eyeballs since his return.

then he shpuld stop being a dick and apologise. thats why everyone hates him. is he stood up and said "yes, i made a mistake, i cheated and got caught and i'm sorry" then he would be accepted back like most other riders who have been banned.
his arrogance and refusal to accept he's done anything wrong is why he is so hated. he won't win anyway. he can't climb mountains with no drugs. |

That's got to be the worst excuse possible. No, that's not an excuse for what he's done, and what he still refuses to admit or even be apologetic for.

I'm going to love it when you disappear, along with your warblings, when Vino gets dropped and/or re-caught

Why should a proven cheat who is riding just as well if not better now than before he got banned for doping get any sympathy or support from anyone?
Does it not seem strange to you that his performance hasn't dropped from his doping years to now? Bear in mind he should be well past his peak by now aswell.
He is definitely still cheating. And from what he has said in the press it seems like he doesn't think there is anything wrong with it either. |

F*uckin hypocrites. Vinokourov is or was no more doped than Valverde, Schlecks, Cancellara, Contador etc etc etc. Hate Vino - hate them. |
