yup. it's between Menchov and Sastre. and Denis is looking good. but you never know what can happen. it's not unusual for him to lose 4 minutes in a stage...let's see.
also, some people that were good today are going to suffer tomorrow because of today's effort.
Piepoli on the other hand will be good tomorrow and is my pick for the stage win. why? he didn't ride hard today.

Menchov was exelent in first mountain stage.Devolder will have very hard day tomorrow...after such a hugh effort as he give today. |

yeah, but what I meant was that Menchov is a bit inconsistent. he might win this Vuelta. but he might also have a horrible day and lose a lot of time. he's done that in previous years.

if I'm not mistaken, Grabsch has just beaten Plaza's record for the fastest Vuelta ITT ever...

He didn't win - and he lost way too much time. He doesn't deserve to be a captain. CSC should buy a new guy immediately and let Sastre be the luxury helper he's supposed to be. |
