hi,
i have a question about the using of hannes converter or editor with the pcm spain db. i wanted to change some riders of the mini rabos to the pro tour team. there were already 30 riders in my team, but the game chrashed after a victory of freire by the vuelta a andalusia by clicking the button "next" in the main newspaper.
so i want to know if it is possible to edit this rider changes or is the size of this pack to big?
i hope you can help me.

I would like to use both the PCMSpain and texture per cyclist mode, but if i install the PCMSpain package, it turned off the texture per cyclist mode, and when is copy the Local.cdb of texture per cyclist mode, the database got confused.
So i tried to edit the Local.cdb manually with Hannes Converter. I find the Texture Per Cycliste record in the GAM_option table. But when i modified to anything and the start the game, it crashed immediately. :-( The problem was definitely the corrupted Local.cdb :-(
Can someone create a useable Local.cdb to PCMSpain for texture per cyclist mode, please...?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think PCM-Spain is compatible with the lastest patch

well, from the fixlist of the patch, it seems to only affect the executable file, so it should be compatible. it works, that's for sure, but if you'll be able to enjoy ALL of the patch's fixes, I can't guarantee. I think so, but I'm not 100%

The One Texture Pr. Rider messes up the warmers and leggings in cold weather conditions. Therefore, it's not recommended to turn this on. The DB-team did include this to begin with, but when they realized what problems it caused they removed it again. |

It's OK, but if i want it to my own risk, i can't modify the database with Hannes Converter properly.
Is it anything else have to modify or just the GAM_option table/Texture Per Cycliste record? If i use PCM Kicker, would work the modified Local.cdb or would be corrupted like the one created with the Hannes Converter...?
The above problem with warmers and leggings i discovered in the original DB too, but i think it the lesser problem then that your all riders is the no. 17 or no. 0, what is very unrealistic. So i would like change the Local.cdb for my own use. But the modified version doesn't work. I tried to copy anouther Local.cdb what switched on the One Texture in the orig DB, but it distroyed the race rankings. With the myself-modified Spain-Local.cdb the program doesn't want to start... |
