Been away on holiday and just caught up with the reports... So far, apart from Ballan who isn't even part of my roster for the next season, I have disappointed in every race... Missed one goal because of a breakaway where I should really have put someone since I had every kind of rider on the race (Top-10@Rund um Koln), and on the verge of missing the 2nd goal (Top-5@Romandie).
Oh, well, I just hope to avoid relegation atm... And hope my budget doesn't get even lower next season...

Now, this is what seems a little random to me.
Some teams 'unite' behind one leader, then other teams have two strong guys up there performing well. Noticed it more than once so far.
Anyway, don't want to turn this into a moan.
Some you win, and some you lose. |

Well basically Samuel Sánchez is my captain, but as I knew from previous experience that Castaño also likes to be in front of the race, I though "screw it, we take the chance"...
So hopefully it will end up being fine. |

It just comes down to how 'lucky' you are in each race with both riders attacking - see La Gazetta in the Ardennes - in Fleche Di Luca and Cunego both went on the attack, in Liege only Cunego did.

Sorry to interupt the thread, but I have been reading around the forum trying to figure out exactly what the man-game is. Now I probably could have searched a little harder, but I would appreciate it if someone would explain exactly what it is. Thanks |

Basically, it's a game where forum members are in charge of one team each. They decide everything from transfers and training to race participation - just like in real life. The races are run by one guy who's only observing and not taking part - the AI does the racing. The 'control guy' then posts a report about each stage. |

"Mama Mia, here we go again, my my" !!!
What a briliant finish. We went from 10th and 12th to 4th and 9th. What an absolutely wonderful way to end this race. This will make Samuel Sánchez come VERY close to leading the overall PT, and our team will also be taking in to charge points here.
I'm extremely surprised with how well this all went. Also 3rd in the pts competition is nice! Steve Morabito ended up 25th, to make a great team competition also.
Wow, just WOW! |

Not really. Same with Steegmans. He absolutely sucked at my team. Sold him and since then, he's been excellent. |
