Tour de Langkawi Stage 1
There were some attacks on the last climb of the day, including Knees, but no one was able to get away
Still the climb proved to be too hard for some sprinters and this doesn't look a usual sprint. Topsport Vlaanderen and CCC seem to have got the best positions there after the climb
Visconti is the fastest there but he wasn't in a great position at the start and it looks too hard to do something now
And Visconti takes only the 2nd place. The winner and the first leader is Bodnar

Tour de Langkawi Stage 2
Another mass sprint, but this time it seems to be more organized. Forster is behind the Topsport Vlaanderen train
When the sprint starts ISD, CSF and CCC were in front, few metres behind Topsport, with Forster being there
Forster is trying but he doesn't seem to have the power to break through today
This really looks like a very close sprint
And it is... very hard to say who won at a first look between Gatto and Dall'Antonia
In the pack one of the ISD riders is really happy so it means it was Gatto who got the win
Bid day for Gatto. Stage win and the yellow jersey as well

Tour de Langkawi Stage 3
Forster seems to have find a very good position behind the Contentpolis riders for today's sprint
But the Spanish train doesn't seem to be very fast after all and Forster finds himself in a very bad position
CCC seem to be the fastest train today, followed CSF and ISD
This is going to be an another close finish. Abakoumov, Smolen and Biondo are in front with Bos pretty close as well
And it's the second stage win for CCC Polsat. The winner is Smolen
Stage

Tour de Langkawi Stage 4
CCC were really fast in the previous stages so this time Forster tried to stay behind them
It seems like a good decision as Verandas Willems and CCC are the fastest teams today
Still Forster isn't able to keep it up with Zielinski and he is losing the Polish rider's wheel
This looks like going to be another close sprint, as it always was so far in Tour de Langkawi, between Zielinski and Van Dijk
And it's the third win for CCC in Malaysia. Only ISD seem to be able to stop them so far

Tour de Langkawi Stage 5
For the first time neither CCC or ISD managed to be in front of the race in the final kilometres before the sprint. Verandas Williams were the only team that really managed to organize itself
Still right before the start of the sprint they've lost speed and their position. Matysiak is now leading the pack with Forster in a perfect position, right behind him
Before they entered the last kilometre Forster tried to make his move. Biondo seems to be doing the same thing from Forster's wheel
Biondo seems to be way stronger than Forster there and he takes the lead into the last kilometre
Forster had lost the fight for the stage win but the second place seems to be secured for him
Even though he was leading in the points classification Biondo had no stage win untill today
And he is also the new leader of the race taking the yellow jersey from his compatriot, Gatto

Tour de Langkawi Stage 6
Another mass sprint in Malaysia and Forster is trying to get the best position he can
Crash in the front of the pack, with less than 5 kilometres left!
It's the yellow jersey wearer, Biondo. This can't be good
A lot of riders were caught there and crashed as well. Most notable: Golcer, Hererro and Baliani
In front Verandas Willems train seems to be the fastest
And that put Van Dijk in a perfect position with 1 kilometre to go
Gaztanaga is able to keep it up with the Dutch rider but it seems hard for him to get the win there
Forster is coming fast from behind but is too late for him to do anything now
Van Dijk gets the stage win and most likely the yellow jersey as well
Biondo lost 1 minute and 47 seconds due to his crash. No chance for him to keep the yellow jersey
1 minute later Golcer's group for him. It's seems to be over for the riders in this group for the overall rankings

Tour de Langkawi Stage 7
With less than 10 kilometres to go there was a crash. It was Gaztanaga, one of the most active sprinters in the previous stages
There were some small hills on today's route but it seems that was enough to make it almost imposible for Forster to sprint
ISD and CSF are leading the pack into the final 5kilometres
With 3 km to go Knees tried an attack
But he didn't manage to get away and he just continued sprinting in the pack
Maybe tomorrow will be his day. Meanwhile Dall'Antonia got a perfect lead - out and he has a confident lead in the final kilometre
Dall'Antonia takes the stage and he is also the new yellow jersey

Tour de Langkawi Stage 8
The final climb started with 2 of the escapes still in front of the pack but not with a great advantage
They were caught after a few kilometres by Herrero, the first attacker from the favourites. Unfornetly for all three it didn't last too long and they were all caught by the pack, which meant a some new attacks
With less than 10km left Bakelants is leading followed by Keizer, Verheyen and Trampusch
Behind them Visconti attacked as they've started getting away
Van Hecke and Knees were right after Visconti
And with just 5km left to ride they joined the front group, including Bakelants
Knees and Van Hecke were way stronger than the others and continued the races in 2
The others were left behind and they aren't in a good position as the pack is coming pretty fast
Knees was a little bit stronger than Van Hecke there and managed to get a small gap right before the start of the final sprint
With 1 kilometre left Knees is still holding on on that advantage
Van Hecke is trying to catch him but it seems pretty hard as the best climber is Knees
And Knees gets it, bringing the second win of the season for Milram
With almost 40 seconds won over the pack, Knees is obvious the new yellow jersey as well, with only 1 stage left to race. Also Forster managed to hang on in the pack on the climb and he still has a top 10 place

thanks.
Well there's still some races before that but it will probably be Knees or Fothen leading the team for Paris - Nice and Gerdemann in Tirreno, with Ciolek also riding in Italy.

Tour de Langkawi Final Stage
The breakaway of the day manage to make it to end. Kreder attacked from the 10 men group with 8 kilometres left and he took the stage win
For most of the day Vegard Laengen was the virtual leader but the pack came really fast in the final kilometres and Knees kept the yellow jersey which means that he is the 2009 winner of Tour de Langkawi

Volta ao Algarve Stage 1
Terpstra was in the day's breakaway. He won the first climb of the day and came second on the second one. He got 14 KoM points, same as Beppu but it was the Japanese who got the jersey at the end of the day
Niki was also the last escape to be caught, 7 kilometres before the finish
It's going to be a mass sprint but Ciolek didn't take the good decision following Brown's wheel as the Aussie doesn't look like being too fast today
Liquigas is leading the sprint for Bennati, with Freire also being very close
But it's neither of those 2 leading the sprint when it starts. Veelers and Barbosa are in front, followed by Klemme
Barbosa is leading with 1 kilometre left as neither Klemme or Veelers were able to keep it up with him
Bennati, Pozzato and Freire are coming really fast but it seems to late to stop Barbosa now
And Portugal's national champion takes the opening stage in Portugal
In the last 2 kilometres of the stage there was a crash which involved Fedrigo and Tschopp. They group lost 2 minutes and 11 seconds today
