Vuelta a Colombia: Venezuelan Manuel Medina won the first mountain stage along with a few of the other contenders, and a country mile ahead of Santiago Botero, who had the yellow after the prologue and stated winning the Vuelta a Colombia as his season goal.
both didn't do that well on the second mountain stage, but Medina is still third in the GC (40 sec or something behind) |

Danmark Rundt: last stage won by Mark Cavendish in a bunch sprint, Arvesen won the overall.
Volta a Portugal: Panaria's Paride Grillo took advantage of the top sprinters looking at each other to jump off the front at 500m to go and barely hang on for the win in stage one ahead of Manuel Cardoso and Fabrizio Guidi.
EDIT: seems like Koldo Gil abandoned due to injury after yesterday's crash.
honestly, who crashes alone in a prologue on a flat, wide, straight piece of open road?

And today, Kurt Asle Arvesen took the overall win in Danmark Rundt. Unfortunately, I missed "the show" for the fourth year in row. |

I had a hundred bucks (no - Danish kroner ) on Arvesen for the GC!!!
Odds was 8 - that's pretty fine. |

Great to see Bos starting to adapt to the road.
And brilliant to see Cav winning after his poor (actually, more unlucky) Tour
