The referee stole the draw from Fiorentina. HUGE offside.
Also - I'm not an expert on football rules, but I doubt that it's allowed to start the game right away on an indirect freekick.
Anyway, I'm fine with Porto winning. Great match |

Helton isn't much better than Fabianski, he just was ok today. Anyway, I'm sure Fabianski is from now on a new idol in Porto. |

If it's allowed in a direct one, why shouldn't it be in an indirect one? I'm not saying it is, it's just logic.
In this game, the referee didn't even have time to raise his arm.
EDIT: @kumazan: Fabianski is very good in crosses to the area, like Wiggo said, but Helton is a much better "stopper" (sorry, can't find the right word). But, yes, I like him better now.

That's an understatement. It's amazing how Klose always gets away with everything he does. he shouldn't even be on the pitch by then. That horrendous tackle he did should've been a straight red.

The (quite a few) Arsenal fans at the forum I frequent don't think there's anything illegal with it. They are however criticising Wenger for being a hypocrite. Since Arsenal are well known for pulling stunts like that all the time (especially in the Henry/Pires days)

What really grates me is that we have a brilliant keeper sitting on the bench.

Deja vous...enough said.
The referee Tom Ovrebo and his officials also caused immense controversy in the Republic of Ireland's World Cup qualifier with France.
That was the swedish referee from the Porto-Arsenal game

Nah, that was the guy who refereed the Porto - Arsenal match.
Øvrebøv is known for the Chelsea - Barca CL semi final. |

There isn't such thing as being "too quick" taking a free kick. Fabianski just did an amateur mistake, and when you do that in the CL, that things happen. |

Years ago when Mourinho was Porto's coach, we let in a goal just like that against Real Madrid away and lost 1-0.
Mourinho was foaming at the mouth at his defenders for not standing in front of the ball to keep the freekick from being taken until the defence could get into position

In general, you can't blame Porto.
First of all, who's stupid enough to pick up a back pass? You're allowed to do that until the age of 10-12 or something like that. 10 years later, you really should have learned about that rule... |

Why would you blame Porto? They did what they had to do, which is to be smarter than Fabianski (Fabianski made this easier though ). The funny thing is that he actually controlled the ball with his foot before he took it with his hands.
*facepalm* |

I'm watching Barca v. Stuttgart right now, and with the way Barca is playing, they could very well lose (they are down 1 - nil at the moment). |

I feel sorry for Stuttgart (even though the game isn't over)...
They've played waay better than Barcelona, but I don't think they're gonna win the game anyway... |

a draw against barca was pretty much all I hoped for before the game but I'm very disappointed now with this result. Stuttgart could have won the much with a little more luck, they were really fighting like hell yesterday. nevertheless it was very exciting to watch

So pleased for Bendtner, after all the stick he got over the weekend, two goals is exactly what he needed.
