Lol @Boonen not starting. All this drama to get him to the start line. Then he does nothing for 2 weeks, and finally quits.
I mean, poor Davis! |

I think contador will do the best job today, although I hope someone else will win tour de france. I don't think lance will win tour de france. he seems to relaxed, which is almost the opposite how he was when during the 7 tour de frances which he won. |

LOL at Boonen, it was really a waste of money entering him to the tour.
Oh and on a cat 3 climb, Van Hummel has been dropped.

I'm sure that Davis would've done remarkly better than Davis at this Tour.
Moving on -- Nicki Sørensen is said to be going for yellow today |

No, it wasn't. The whole point of having Boonen in the Tour was money.
Quickstep's sponsorship contract with the team means 3 million euro of the sponsorship money are conditional to Boonen riding the Tour.

In France2 they are talking a lot about Arashiro. Waghlon would be happy.

The day davis got removed from the team he said he would go back home to QLD, stop riding for a while and not even what the tour.
He will be pretty annoyed at the team when he hears about Boonan. |

Cyclingnews.com live report:
At the feed point, Vladimir Efimkin (AG2R) has abandoned. The Russian crashed badly the other day, and suffered injuries to his face, shoulder and ribcage. That's a blow to the French team, which still aims at defending Nocentini's yellow jersey today.

Just read on Twitter that its strong tailwind up Verbier, together with that rolling tarmac and terrain up there i think it wont be to tough up there. Especially regarding the climb length. Better chances for bigger powerful riders to hang on. |
