Does anybody know how to take control of another team during the season using the editor? |

Untested, but give it a try: Open your save game with an editor and open DYN_team. Find your team and scroll across to fkIDuser_duplicate. Set it to 0. Find the team you want to control and set it to 1 in the same column.
You may also have to change gene_f_solde in DYN_team for your new team to have any money at all. |

right, i've just decided that i'm going to start adding races and teams and riders and everything, already know how to do a fair bit of basic editing. a day into it i'm soooo frustrated already. i have a question to start with. im using advanced editor, and ive added team jayco-AIS. ive added two cyclists using the steps outlined in the first post, all looks about right. i go to export, and it gets to the last little bit when exporting, then it comes up with the trusty old DatabaseXML.exe has encountered a problem etc etc. anyone have any idea why this is? |

It crashes when you've not filled out a column that should've been filled, or if a column has been filled out wrongly (e.g. missing a () or something like that). |

righto, cheers. also, is there any way to copy the entire row, say if i've want to take a rider from the PCMCLUB DB to my own DB, instead of having to copy each column? got about 1000 questions but i'll try limit it to a few every hour |

You have to edit the file with Excel if you want to copy and paste rows, etc.
Can't be done when using the Full Editor. |

Hmm. This question will help many fans of the "custom team" function, I think. Since some of us like to use an all youth team, and by this get a bad sponsor confidence.
How do you edit the sposor confidence in PCM09? It has changed since last version..

It has changed, yes, but the idea is the same.
Open DYN_manager, find sponsor_f_points, sponser_f_coeff_from_team_classification and sponsor_f_overall. Set the values higher than they are, and your sponsor confidence will increase. |

My team gets promoted into the next season. In 2010 i want to ride at least the 3 big Tours with the stages of 2009. How, and is this possible? |

Ok, I feel like an incedible tool for having to ask this, but here goes nothing:
I've been trying to give a newly created rider his favorite races, favorite/disliked weather and temperature in the Hannes editor. I know the values for everything I want to put in and where to put them. Yet, every time I save the database and load up my game there's nothing there. If I reload the database all the values have gone too.
What am I doing wrong? I tried the 'save' button below in the Dyn_Cyclist spreadsheet of the Hannes editor in general, and then on every single cell, and then overwrote the database I was working in on saving. But the cells empty each time as if I haven't saved anything. I'm sure I'm missing something, but what?

Have you ticked edited tables before saving? |

Since I have no idea what you mean: I don't think so How do I 'tick' them? I tried left- and right-clicking both the rows and the columns at the far/top end but that does nothing or just changes the order. |

I suppose you mean Hannes Converter and not Hannes Editor.
If yes, after you've clicked Save in your DYN_cyclist-file, you need to save again by clicking the large Disc icon. When you click it, you'll be asked where to place the new file AND which tables you've edited. You need to click DYN_cyclist in the popup that appears. |

Editing these values does not seem to have any effect at all on my game.
Initial values in my savegame were:
sponsor_f_points: 0
sponsor_f_coeff_from_team_classification: 7,12312398etc
sponsor_f_overall: 0
What would be typical values in these three columns?
Cheers. |

I've created a custom 21-stage tour and added it into career mode. It's noted as CTT (and appears in the race calendar), yet my team isn't registered on the start-list, while it is on all other (regular) CTT tours. How do i get my (custom) team registered to the race? Here's the STA_race code incase you need it:

Thanks, but unfortunately that didn't do the trick. Is there any other (STA) file i have to edit next to the STA_Stage & STA_race? |
