or maybe he is tired after the Giro. Remember that in 2006 after a hard Tour de France for him he did nothing in Vuelta.
Anyway it will be nice if Gesink will be the team leader now or at least the same level as Menchov.

Clement, Dessel, Auge and Veikanen are todays break.
Saxo keeping the pace up so they won't get a too big lead too soon. This probably means the sprinters teams can easily catch them in the second half of the race. |

F. Schleck crashed with Anton and someone else. Then he almost crashed with the saxo bank car when he where going to get water..

could someone help me out with an annoying blank?
Who were the two riders in the tour a year or two ago who were climbing together and one was unable to get water and refused the offer of the other ones bottle so he threw it away?
