i haven't played it for a while, last i played it was about a month ago and tried a couple of weeks ago and it didn't work, i think the disc is too scratched
so that shouldn't actually be on my list i've only just remembered now

here's armed assault due to Addy being lazy
to fully understand the scope of the game, look at those pics and realize that even though those tanks in the distance are about 5km away, they're moving normally.
in other games, you keep hiring firing in the distance. that's sound effects to set up a decent environment.
not here. if you see an explosion in the distance or hear shots that are 10km away, you can be DAMN SURE there's a war going on there. and you'll find it if you go there. although your orders are probably different

I should have explained a bit more, probably. ever played Operation Flashpoint? this is the sequel.
don't expect a first person shooter. don't expect to take 3 shots and stay alive. don't expect to carry around an arsenal that an entire army would be proud of. don't expect to act alone.

I did read it .. isn't Battlefield a little realistic? I mean, it isn't like Counterstrike. It's more realistic than that.
But alright, you mean super-realistic. It sounds interesting. I like these kind of war games (got all the BF-games). |

like flashpoint, the infantry part was made to be as realistic as possible with the help of a few czech army officers. as long as you choose the veteran difficulty, of course

looks like an awesome game, the graphics are superb, and the only war type game's i enjoy are where you have troops with youB)

haven't bought it, but I have it (knowing people who work at an editing company pays off )
it's the typical Electronic Arts game: 99% like the old one with one or two crappy features added in and a different number on the cover. this year it's 08.... |

i just got this game cheap the other day and it is pretty amazing - if a little boring at times. i just tried playing multiplayer but that was crap as i had absolutely no idea what was happening or what i was meant to do. anyone got it?
