I've Tried the arcade trail version and my doubt for the game was correct. It is very bad. In fact i don't know where to start, but I say don't buy and hope for a better game next year.

How do i win sprints, they seem quite difficult.
And yeah, riders don't loose energy day after day, just at the end of the tour the fitness goes down a bit.

It indeed is very bad, but I can still enjoy it for let's say a few more hours I think. How to win sprints.. On normal just attack with a sprinter right before the sprint (around 25km to go) and then just press A all you can.. the other sprinters won't pass you for the win.. At least they didn't do that to me. It only works with a good sprinter though.. GC people won't stand a chance in the sprint. Unless they have like 3 minutes on the pack. |

Win sprints by getting a leadout train, set everyone except your sprinter to relay 75% in the last part of the stage, set your sprinter to follow once he is about in the right position and with about 15k to go (yes unrealistic but whatever) start your sprint. |

Anyone won anything on the hardest difficulty setting yet? I'm still struggling to win anything other than flat stages on normal.
I've only completed one Tour, I was 8th with Andy Schleck, and missed the points jersey by 5 points to Tom Boonen with Cancellara. Does anyone have any tips for the Mountains? I usually attack with the other favourites from the front of the field, but for whatever reason I never catch them, even if I get the attack bang on 'Yeah'. :S |

On normal i won the yellow, polka and white doing this.
On the climb, attack as high as possible (on the point scale) then effort 99%, your rider can do about 50km on that.

Wow, I just downloaded the trial version, and it is just awful. What a horrible representation of the game play that makes the PC version so fun.
I played the one available trial stage and have no need to play it again or even consider downloading/purchasing the full game. |
