I've got the mail too, you gotta think that they will send out the download thing before the official release, right?
But i rather see that they fix the last minute bugs instead of releasing a patch moments after the game comes out!

Not gonna happen. The game is finished and being distributed / published right now.
Cyanide is working on the 1st patch. |

I wonder why.. Isn't it common sense that you wait to release the game until you've fixed all known bugs?
Bad start for the game if there already are issues?
Still I'm looking forward to the game and the download

Bugs are found constantly in any PCM game, sit tight. The game ships as near-perfect as can be. The patches just improve whats been noticed since it's gone gold.

They get told when they have to ship it and when they have to have it ready. There's no "fixed all known bugs".
At least they do patches. They could be like EA: "here. doesn't work very well, but we'll release one measly patch that creates more problems than it solves. now gives us money and fuck off".

I agree that 07-08 has been more "complete" from the start.
Still i bugs me some.. Anyway, it can only be better that the buggy game of the year, last year Falluot 3. But that's another topic

I'm imagining the download link arrives on the day of release, it's happening with cyanide's other game (Blood Bowl) too.

CT: Why consider the DL version? Maybe it's just me, but I would have hated only have 3 reinstalls, before you have to send a mail... If you're looking for the same as me, I guess you can wait a couple of days... |

You get 3 activations, not installations.
Delete....reinstall....delete....reinstall....delete....reinstall. And it's always the same activation.
As long as you don't deactivate, you're still using the same activation |
