There might be leagues in the beta, but not in the final game. |

No possibility to pick leagues, the leagues will be filled "on demand". If you really want to participate with your friends on the same league the best way is that you all register at the same time, though there is a small chance that if a league is almost full you end up on different leagues.
For the future we will try to add the possibility to create private leagues, but it wont be the case for this first version.
UPDATE regarding the beta information needed to become tester:
It is very important that you post the time frame you will have available to play the game. Because the game will be run on accelerated mode during the beta (to be able to finish the game) it will be a bit more time demanding than the final game, so we need active people.
For those who have already signed up on the other topic, please update your information accordingly.
Thanks |

max 10/15 minutes several times during the day
it is expected no more than 1hour per day but split during several times due to the nature of the game.
The first time you log it will take a little longer until you understand the game and how to play though |

I dunno... Silverlight... I cant see that working out very well... There would have been no crime in making the game actually browser-based

Following that logic, YouTube isn't browser-based either, because all their videos are in Flash. |

Indeed, apparently Silverlight is not yet supported on Opera.
You may need to use another browser if you want to play the game. |

An update regarding the candidatures for testing.
The beta will start Monday 15 between 12:00 and 16:00. The deadline for registration will be Monday at midnight. The length of the beta is 1 week, it means that it will finish on Monday 22.
The races will be simulated every 6 hours. That means that you will have to connect to the game several times during the day, but no more than 5-10 minutes each time. (You can skip some races, but then your performance wont be optimal, dont blame me later if you dont manage to win!)
The deadline for candidatures is Saturday at midnight.
I still have enough spots available, so don't hesitate to ask for your place if you consider you can do it.
I will try to publish later the exact schedule of races. |

Here's the schedule for the beta. The times (GMT +1) are when a stage is simulated.

Just to avoid confusion: You have to set your team before a stage is simulated. You don't have to be online when it's simulated. |

I have counted already 72 candidatures for becoming a tester of Tour de France Online, however, I still don't have the emails that you will use for the beta. Because this is a requirement for a candidature to be accepted, i need that you send me a private message with the email address that you will use to register on the game. Any change on the email must be notified, otherwise I will delete all the accounts that I don't have on my list.
Right now I think i can have spots for everybody, but I need the emails to hand out the NDA, so the sooner we get this done, the more chances you will have to get into the final selection.
In another sort of things, here you have a new image of the game, it's the classification tab where you can check where are your riders placed in each classification.
