I know but i hope he does. Someone mentioned bruseghin but i dont think he will do that well tbh. You want an experienced rider who is around 32ish not coming into the last year or two like bruseghin. I hope people like fleeman etc join and i think a few irish rider smight sign if they are out of contract. I wonder if roche or deignan are?? Does anyone know??
It's news... If someone who read this didnt know it's news for them..
But i know till next time it's the other race thread

Quickstep has signed Samoilau and Kunitski and they will join the team immediately. Samoila should start in Tour de Suisse, while Kunitski will participate in Ster Elektrotoer.
RCS Sport, Vuelta organisers are showing a big middle finger to LPR, Katusha and Fuji.

Di Luca would be going, yes. Not Petacchi, probably.
And no, I have no idea

Why?
LPR I understand, their Italian and their is no guarantee that Pettachi or Di Luca would show.
Katusha I don't understand in the slightest, they are a PT team, and I don't see why you'd invite a team like say, Garmin and not them.
Fuji I sort of understand, on one hand their Spanish, but on the other they are Fuji
do you know why they aren't getting invites?
I don't understand it indeed. With Colom they have a star Spanish rider while Garmin doesn't have anyhting extra, at least when Vandevelde doesn't show up.
LPR -Dopeheads - Di luca and Peta
Katusha Dopeheads - Pfannenberg and i can say others but they were not caught.
Fuji will be weaker then Xacobeo so understanble.

For Verbruggen, president of the UCI, doping, "it is the fault of the fans"
Finally, the cynicism of the leaders of pro sports is all summed up in this conversation between Dick Pound, former president of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and Hein Verbruggen, president of the UCI. The exchange takes place after the Festina affair and before the launch of the AMA. Dick Pound said:
"[I said]" Damn, Hein, we have a real problem in your sport. It will really require that you do something. "
He replied: "But it's the fault of the fans. "
I said: "I beg your pardon? How it is the fault of the fans? "
He said: "Eh, well, it's simple: if they spend watching the Tour de France in 25 km time, the rider would not need it all. But as fans insist that the Tour de France to 42 km run time, it must be that the riders are getting ready. "
I told him: "Are you kidding, I hope? In fact, they were all well aware. "

Btw. this was hugh..that Giro invited Galicia after all.
Katusha out..this made me laugh..well personal reasons. All that spended money and 0 result in Giro..now out of Vuelta.

About Galicia - I think they were invited for Mosquera.
Unfortunately he got injured a few weeks before the Giro.
The team but in fair showing I thought. They got themselves into quite a few breakaways.
yep..
this is different in cycling. If you wach like 1990-1996 tour videos..
breakaway guys made it there more often..
2009 Giro main pack was eager to go after an close breakaways down (even when they had no reason to do this)..
