I translated that article with google and it says the salaries have not been paid yet and they still have until the end of May.

i will translate it from my own language!

it sais that the owners have given salary to a number of cyclists, but that the UCI has warned them to make sure that their financial situation is normal to pay their riders every month. it has to be back to normal before may the 31

It would seem to me that some of the riders have been paid...perhaps the Kazakhs...and that others are still waiting to be paid.

i believe that the Kazakhs always have got their salary, but the problem was about the payment for the other riders..
i think that is the reason why Zeits still wears his original Astana yersey...:lol:

well maybe ..salaries are between 50$ and 50 000$..is lance riding for free? Has he told he will when he returned?

They also need to pay the financial guarantee, which is 100.000 euro i think.

Lance is riding for free. Bruyneel said that when he explained the situation on his blogWink

Even if Lance himself does not have to deal with the payment troubles since he rides without a salary, he suffers seeing his teammates not being paid. Although everybody is still motivated to continue together, it certainly weighs on the team..
