I also agree about BOOnen.
Yeaah..
Vandevelde:
1998–2003 US Postal
2004 Liberty Seguros
Looks like saint for me
But he was in CSC, so he has been clean for a couple of years.

There's no reason to question him. It seems rather unfair to question someone based solely on him doing good.
Again, keep in mind that it's likely he's always had the talent - and at the Tour, he got his first chance ever at being the captain. Add to that that a lot has happened the past few years, especially at the Tour. Look at the riders participating - they werent' exactly creme de la creme if you compare them to what we've seen previously with Landis, Armstrong, Vinokourov, Klöden, Contador, Leipheimer, Basso, Ullrich, etc., etc.
It's only normal that riders who were previously co-captains become captains when their previous captains have been suspended / have retired
Edit: The main point of my post: Don't just question someone due to a rather good performance. There's zero indications if you look aside from the teams he's been on.

Looking at the teams and mentioning the tour de France is surely contradictory:
he was on 'dodgy' teams and rode badly, then as soon as he went to a 'clean' team he got better. Either he was on some awful drugs on the logic is wrong somewhere

On a guy, you can question -- Armstrong:
# Sitting down and eating dinner and guess what? Knock knock. Anti-doping control. This is the 23rd one since the comeback.about. 14 hours ago from TwitterBerry
That's a guy who constantly complains about anti doping controls |

CONI's expected to announce the suspension of Alejandro Valverde next week. If all goes according to normality, the UCI will follow by making the suspension global.
And if that's the case, bye bye Piti.
The "alleged" offense was "supposedly" commited back when suspensions were only 2 years, so if he's suspended, he'll probably be back later.

Not big lost anyway...last years he was so far on he's "golden years" form anyway. When we take dope away we get damn good classic rider. But keep digging I like to have some football player name already

The thing is that it's good news, I just won't believe it until the day it happens. |

Astana will ride the Tour of Missouri
but look at this little gem from Velonews in the article
The Kazakstan-registered team joins Garmin-Slipstream, Columbia-High Road, Liquigas, Cervelo TestTeam as confirmed ProTour teams at the race, which will feature 15 teams.
