The loading times are arse as well and i havent seen any proof of campaign mode being funny as it appears not to in the demo after completing the battle tutorials.

Well, I'm loving it, and the reviews from critics have been fabulous so far.

Same here - most people are just bitter about Steam (which worked flawlessly for me), and after installation, it's incredible

There was a fairly big problem with steam that meant that often you couldn't launch empire. But yesterday they released an update for steam that fixed that.

I got this game friday, and has wondered ever since, is there a way to unluck the smaller nations in campain mode, like Denmark etc.

And in Rome you could definitely unlock the smaller nations by beating the game.
I mean, if you couldnt do that in Empire, that would kinda make the game suck.

Just went on Amazon to order this - and it has gathered a lot more negative reviews since last time I visited - even from alleged Total War fans....
